I always hate going against teams with losing streaks, theyre always due for a win and usually get one against us. Still we got Beckett game one, then Burnett makes his third start since being traded heh

    BTW Dontrelle was impressive tonight

Nice win, and Beckett played well. Jones had me scared to death when he let Vinny get on base. Then he struck out Schneider to end the game. WOOO HOOO!! 7 out of our last 9 baby!!!!!!

Yep finally playing up to potential, please dont get rid of Burnett or Lowell now. BTW Delgado wasn't in the lineup again tonight, is he hurt? Still we keep winning, but the Braves and Astros are too.

I think he might have took the night off or something. I haven't heard anything on a injury. Yeah we don't need to trade anybody now that the team has finally awoke from its season long slumber.

Right I would be surprised if they deal anyone now with the way the team is playing, and I still feel best when Burnett is pitching. I mentioned Delgado since its been three games in a row. And Cabrera is coming up on Derrek Lee for the average lead, .350 now.

chalk up another victory for the fish and burnett...shutout style against the terrible Nats. Also with Derrek Lee 0-4 and cabrera getting hits, Miguel is just .009 away from the average lead.

Also delgado and gonzalez werent in lineup again...hope they get better for cardinals series

We lost, but so did the Stros. So no damage there.

HUGE HUGE WIN!!! For us tonight. I mean beat the best team in the NL with our 5th starter. Coming from behind to do it. I'm liking what I'm seeing, esp with Lowell woke up from his season long slumber!! 2 games back baby but really with those 2 games with the Rockies to make up I'd say we are tied.

Dropped two winnable games in a row, especially that last one. Time to dump Villone, there three days and he already sucks

Huge win tonight...how bout that massive game for Cabrera. He'll pass Derrek Lees average by Monday.

Last I checked the Astros were losing 5-1, but it is the DBacks

Stros will find a way dammit!!! Taking 2 out of 4 from the Cards on their turf was huge, but we should have took all 4!!!

Perfect day. Vargas is awesome in his first start, while Cabrera homers and is now just .001 behind Lee for average. Nationals lose, Phillies lose, Braves got killed, and as of now Astros are down 2-0, if they lose we're just down 2.0

what a terrible loss today...really blew that one. Houston lost so were still 2 back, but that was dissappointing. Even worse Delgado went on the DL, but at least Cabrera passed Lee for highest average
