It's one of the few things I don't like about the game. A players defensive speed should be their defensive speed, especially since you control just one player at a time. The others shouldn't be dogging it.

What would you guys suggest to use for Ego
I am using 60 batting, 60 baserunning, 30 defense. My 9 year old son would like some computer help catching fly balls. Suggestions please?

Maybe try 20 Fielding Ego and see how it feels to him.

I kind of like it . what i do is run to the direction at first but then let go when I get close to let the cpu do it. this works well for me not dropping balls

              Re: Ego setting

I'm trying to figure out what settings to use, I played my first game on 50 across the board..... I scored 13 runs in the first 2 innings.....this is bothersome to me so far because they pretty much pitch obvious balls or right down the pipe...back to the lab!

Ok..... had to quit after 6 innings.... had 21 runs off of 27 hits with 8 home runs....I'll move up to 60 for the next run!

I settled on 59 for season mode. I'm
like 9-5 and games are competitive.

                          Re: Ego setting

                          So far I'm at:

                          Hitting - 73
                          Baserunning - 99
                          Pitching - 90
                          Defense - 99

The hitting is becoming difficult, and that's a good thing. When my players' mojo gets too high, I can't not pepper it over the fence. Now I'm actually striking out, which is good. It can get a bit frustrating that I can't catch up to some fastballs, but any lower than 70 and I'm just dominating way too much.

Ack, lost my first game at ego 60 (everything) went down 2-0 came back on 3 solo homers in the 5th. Then extended the lead to 5-2. Then I brought in my relievers. Here's a tip, Beewolves relief pitchers stink. Ended up losing 9-6
