    Where the hell is Syracuse??????

How does Illi-f'n-nois get in? Michigan State?

The ACC placed 7 f'n teams???

One of the worst selections that I can ever remember.

And then they matchup Butler and ODU in the first round? What a bunch of gutless grey hairs....

Drexel, Mizzou State, and App. State should have all been in. How many George Mason's, Wichita State's, Bradley's, etc... does the committee need to get a clue? These teams are seeded to lose yet they still perform but get no respect...

Agreed. The worst I can remember. And not just who got in, but the seedings? Comical.

Drexel should be in, over Arkansas or Illinois

It would be great if FSU & Cuse get some boosters to buy/donate money for the tickets and don't sell any. Then don't have the players show up for the, screw the NCAA and ESPN.

The NCAA did this last year, now that they own the NIT, they need some higher profile teams in the NIT, so they leave them out of the NCAA.

That was the biggest piece of B.S. r ight here.

Why in the world would they do that? These guys are a bunch of a-holes.

Why is an 18-12 team in over Drexel?

I may argue over Arkansas too, but they made the SEC final and having no SEC West team in the tourney is a worse precedent to start setting than Cuse's exclusion

Because it is all about money and access. If you match them up at the start, one is already off the board. The power conferences need to keep control of the tourney, hence the declining at large invites for mid majors...

And did you see how happy Packer was? He and Nantz are loving all this. The fewer mid-majors, the happier they are.

Play-in games will probably lead to even LESS mid-major teams.

They'll just make four play-ins for the 16 seeds, and since 16 seeds are always low/mid-majors, that eliminates four more small school from the actual tournament and probably gives the major conferences another 2-3 bids...

Play-in games should be used for the last few at-large bids that way they can seperate themselves instead of eliminating teams that earned tourney spots by winning their conference

Either add another full round or bring it back to 64 /rant

Anyways, I'd take Purdue and Stanford out and put in Drexel and Syracuse.

With that logic, a 10-6 K-State team should have been in. Arkansas had no business being in the tourney...

And the Big East got 6, I don't see your point. The ACC was better this year.

The Big 12 isn't made of 2 divisions in college basketball, that's only in football. So the K-State thing doesn't stand up.
