I picked VCU as well. I think I picked more "upsets" this year than last. Probably will come back to bite me. I'm looking to add an extra $100 on my paycheck from my work pool, so hopefully my risky picks will pay off.

I'm currently 5-2 so far. I had Oral Roberts beating WSU, and Stanford beating Louisville.

What the hell was I thinking with the Stanford pick?

Yeah I took VCU as well, I went with some upset picks for the same reason as you in hopes my bracket is different and that way if it works out I gain some points.

I'm 0 for 1 on upsets so far though with ODU, but I only had them winning that one game anyhow.

So I'm 6-1 so far, unfortunately I think everyone else in my pool is hovering around that mark to.

There haven't been any upsets yet, but really I don't think the best games have yet to come. I have six double-digit seeds winning in the first round, and only one(ODU) played so far. Other than them, Davidson's the only other team that I even considered picking that has played so far.

In other words, I think it'll get better. Looking at the schedule, I'd say that Friday's games have alot more upset potential than today's. There's ten teams seeded at 10 or worse that I think have a shot tomorrow

Yeah tomorrow should be a lot better, then again it'd be hard not to be, today hasn't been very good thus far.
