lol reminds me of my , then-12 year old friend. he hit puberty and matured and was basically a 20 year old 5-11 beast in 5th grade.

he went from C to PG when HS came around.

we all surpassed him and he peaked at 12, while some of us are just barely peaking at 21.


i sense Oden peaking 5 years in the league

One thing about Oden, he's going to be a GM's dream in the NBA. 7 feet tall, good moves down low and can shoot with either hand.

Marquette didn't have a field goal in the first 9+ minutes of the game, and now hasn't scored a field goal in the last 6+ minutes. They're lucky they're not getting Stanford'd right now

Marquette looks like absolute ***.

VCU and Duke going back and forth.. you can see it that Duke is getting worn down.

VCU just has to make those close shots and they will be fine.

All VCU has to do is go in the paint, Duke can't stop them.

They cant finish at all. They are getting exactly what they want though. Duke's catching some breaks.

The problem is Oden looks already like he could easily be a top 10 center pretty easily. Very close to top 5. The other centers in the league never peak, which is the problem. Oden's going to be more than fine.

Almost a full half of not scoring, embarrassing.

I know. They're so bipolar. When they're on top of their game, they can beat any team in the league. But when they don't show up, the route is on.

I figured after their surprise success last year that this year they'd be a real threat, but now I'm wondering if this current group is destined for four years of underachieving

George Washington did that. First 6 1/2 minutes of the game, they didn't have a basket, and for another 10+ minutes, they went without a field goal.

Just sad.

Paulus, Nelson and Thomas all have 3 fouls each. If VCU could draw a 4th foul on any of them, that'd be huge.

lol Marquette has two two-point field goals in the ENTIRE GAME. I don't remember seeing so many teams just completely forget to show up for the first round of the tourney
