Florida is the best team I've seen since I can remember. Which goes back to 1977. You can't look @ that team & tell me there is something they are lacking. It was a privilege to watch them defend their title.Originally posted by VP Richard M. That said, I am damn proud of my Buckeyes! To even get this far is quite a feat. I will miss Greg Oden, he was a gift to this team. OSU basketball is on the way up, but will never equal football. Yes we lost in both title games, but it really says something about OSU to get to both of them (and it says even more for Florida actually winning). I love my Buckeyes, and while we came up short again, there is still the Shoe, there is still a lot of returning guys on the bball team, there is still Ohio State. Hopefully the students don't burn it down.
To be honest, I think these two losses can be good for a lot of Ohio State fans. Some people simply take it too seriously, and need some prospective."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Yep, the future for OSU b-ball looks bright. Koufos, Diebler, Turner, and Lauderdale will be nice additions. If Oden stays, we'll have two 7 footers next year!! Of course, Koufos isn't really a traditional center, but still. Then, we have BJ Mullens, another 7 footer in the next class. A lot of talent coming in the next few years.

To be honest, I think the football loss may have done some good. If OSU makes it to another title game in football soon with players that were on roster to remember that game, I doubt they come out flat and unprepared, or in Alex Boone's case, completely out of shape. Everybody needs to be humbled every once in awhile. I think those upcoming big men will really help us. If Oden stayed we'd be unreal, but even still, the future is bright."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Despite the crappy tourney, I still get chills.
Play of the tourney for me is Eric Maynor vs Duke.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Yeah but Durant needs to bulk up fast. In the Big 12 Tourney, Durant started fast against Kansas but once they put Rush on him, he was done."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

I really think he does. And I really think he goes #1 or #2.
Oden and Durant are CLEARLY the two best NBA prospects right now and it really isn't even close.
After this season..I'd say Corey Brewer goes the highest of any Gator. That guy is insane.AUBURN TIGERS

Oh, there's no doubt that if Durant comes out he'll be the #2 pick. I would seriously consider picking him #1 but I don't see any NBA teams passing up a dominant big man like Oden. And I also think Brewer is the best Gator, although Horford really played well also.Comment
