OSU needs a monster game from the turnover perspective and needs to connect on their outside shooting. Florida has a big advantage inside. I pray Oden doesn't get into foul trouble. OSU has done alright with Terwilliger and Hunter inside, but Florida has a lot of big men to where I think rebounding won't be as easy as it has been for OSU when Oden goes out.

I have to be honest...I'm afraid the Gators are going to get run tonight. Every, and I mean every, analyst is predicting them to win in a blowout, very similar to Ohio State and the BCS title game. Granted, their isn't 50+ days between games, but I still have a bad feeling about this game tonight. Hopefully its just me anticipating the worst...should be a good game though.OSU needs a monster game from the turnover perspective and needs to connect on their outside shooting. Right, the extra calls that are getting him trouble are little reach-in's, bumping a cutter, etc. It's almost as if the refs are focusing on him moreso in the tournament and are blowing the whistle on every little thing he does.
At the same time, he's got to be smart and not even attempt to reach in or whatever the case may be. He's far better off to allow an opposing player one lay-up if he's out of position defensively than he is to hack the guy and go sit on the bench for the next eight minutes."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

There were quite a few analysts who picked florida to win the national championship game. I think Herbstreit was the only gameday guy who didn't pick them.I have to be honest...I'm afraid the Gators are going to get run tonight. College football and basketball are completely different animals in that aspect though. The only team that OSU played in football last year during the regular season was an overrated Michigan team. The ESPN and media hype had everyone believing OSU and Michigan were the two best teams by a landslide, then both got smacked in their bowl games.I have to be honest...I'm afraid the Gators are going to get run tonight. Yeah, there's a pretty big difference between the two sports. Tonight should be a different score, but I'm 90% sure the Gators win this game.
The only way Ohio State wins tonight is if they hit their outside shots, which will all be heavily contested, and if they force turnovers, which they failed to do against us at the beginning of the season.
Man... if we pull this off... it's going to be great to have dominated THE Program, THE Ohio State University, in the only two college sports anyone cares about. Honestly, the most arrogant and pretentious fans I've ever seen. I smile when they cry. Go Gators.Comment

As much as I'd love to see it, I don't think it will happen. Humphries isn't what scares me about Florida, those inside guys scare me. Horford is a beast. If Conley cannot penetrate OSU is in some serious trouble, especially if Daequan Cook takes his obligitory wide open 3s which he misses about 95% of the time.I have to be honest...I'm afraid the Gators are going to get run tonight. I hope this is a clean game with no injuries. If Florida comes out on top (which well lets face it, about 99% of the world expects) then its clear they are the better team. If OSU wins, thank god, but I think every Buckeye fan in the world would trade the results for April 2nd with January 8th. Good luck Gators.
Maybe this will help start some kind of rivalry between the two schools. I know in football it will be hard to do (Florida plays a loaded enough schedule, and the schedules come out years upon years in advance). As much as there is a resentment for Florida here by Buckeye fans, I would love to see some kind of mini rivalry start. You already have enough rivals, but I think it would be fun to at least set up a home-home in football.
If Greg Oden dunks in the opening seconds, then Conley lands on his foot and breaks Oden's ankle... I just might stop watching.Comment

Can't wait for the game tonight. I'll be rooting for the Buckeye's all night. I just can't stand Jokim Noah (I pray to god every night that he doesn't end up in a Celtics unifrom.)Comment

I'm pretty sure Florida's going to win tonight. I make my bball sheet out based upon who I hate the most, and I have Ohio St. and Florida in the finals. I hate Florida more, so I'm pretty sure they'll win. Strangely, this method works surprisingly well, because it seems that annoying teams are more successful than normal teams.
