We will be a top 5 team with Wall, top 10 without. People compare this season to when Hansbro and Co. came in as freshman coming after a National Championship in '05. However, I view next season similar to the '07 team that had some nobodies named Wright, Lawson, Ellington, and Co.

We return more talent than that team did and will only have one likely freshman starter and that's Henson.

Frasor won't be back. If he does, he eats a schollie and we don't get Wall for sure.

Also, alot...ALOT of people are sleeping on my man L-Mac. But I'll say this now, he look the most impressive and outside of Henson and Davis, he'll probably be the best pro prospect in this class. He screams Danny Green and many people overlooked him when he first came to the Hill.

Good thing...that team made it to the Elite 8.

Next years UNC team will be a lot more talented than that 06 team regardless of whether Wall comes or not.

I'll take the 06-07 starting lineup, but the 08-09 team has a deeper bench. 06-07 would have more offense, but the 08-09 would be more athletic and better defensive, with some serious height advantages.

Anyways, this is a recruiting thread. I'll stop jabbering about UNC and keep it on topic.

Are UNC fans excited about the Wear twins? The few times I have seen them they didn't impress, but that was only 3 games and you can never get an accurate read from that little of a sample.

But I was curious what UNC fans thought of them?

The Wear twins will provide nice depth behind Davis, Thompson, Henson and Zeller next season. Not a bad problem for UNC to have. I think they'll be solid players in 2 years.

John Wall still won't be at UNC next year, imo.

As for talent, next year's team will be ahead of that 06 team (before Lawson, Ellington and Wright showed up). That team started Bobby Frasor, Wes Miller, David Noel, Reyshawn Terry and Tyler Hansbrough for most of the year that I recall.

Big Bodies and they have Great Fundamentals from a great program,Good 3-4 year players.

I am hoping Mark McLaughlin ends up coming to Baylor. Hopefully Nolan Dennis comes as well.

Both have signed with Baylor. That's two 4* star SG's in three days.

Nice John Wall compilation, but it compares him too Lebron, I go more towards D. Wade with a little bit of And 1. Looks like Duke is getting closer to signing him. Will Mike let him play?

Well it is certainly possible but most analysts think he will qualify. As far as the trip to NC Central goes, the head coach is a long time friend of his. This is a nice gesture by Wall to announce he will visit there, but he has no intention of actually going there. But the school gets a little exposure when the #1 player in the country wants to visit.

With that said, boy is it getting old. Really wish Wall would make a decision so everyone can move on. I get why he wants the attention and he has every right to milk it if he wants, but as a fan it is getting tiresome.

I guess we will see someday where John Wall will play....who knows when though?
