I am extremely worried about tonights game vs Providence. Not sure why I am anxious over this game but I am.

good to see UofL decide to play defense in the 2nd half and take over the game. I can't believe Burr called Knowles for that technical foul in the 2nd half. That was bs.

After a lackluster start, they really stepped up their defense and made Notre Dame work hard for every bucket in the 2nd half. You could definitely see that the Irish were very fatigued in the final few minutes of the game. Offensive rebounding kept WVU alive throughout the 1st half when they were struggling and Notre Dame was shooting 58%. Although I'm not a fan at all, Harangody is a beast and I have to give him credit. That dude busts his butt every play and is about as tough as a competitor as you will find.

Damn good win for UofL today. Could've easily fallen victim to a decent Bearcat team that needed the game in the worst way and had a week to prepare for the Cards.

The Cards had a couple of opportunities early in the game to really take control but couldn't get that one basket to put them into a double digit lead and you really have to credit the Bearcats with always having an answer.

Next up is a road game at G'Town on Monday. The Hoyas will be just as hungry as the Bearcats were today, so hopefully our guys will be ready to match their intensity level.

ND gets a big win at Providence to stay in the discussion for the 9th Big East bid, especially with Cincy and Georgetown losing. They are favored to win the 3 home games, so if they win that and get a Dysonless UConn upset, they have a good chance to make it again

And ND's best OOC victory is even better after Texas upsets no. 2 Oklahoma

Nova on a big 11-0 run. Syracuse basically handed those points to them.

There is no reason for Rautins to take threes that deep only down five. Very ill-advised.
