Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
Dude, Deedledork's body fell into him as he was coming down from the block attempt. It wasn't during the shot but clearly should have been called and it should have been shots for WVU, although not 3 of them.Comment

Dont be bitter, this game like last nights game were badly officiated both ways. Bad way to end the game, but to now be saying there gonna lay a egg and stuff is selfish because you guys got calls to, it happens. Get some rest for the NCAAs
Good game WV
Hopefully atleast a 4 seed.Paul Harris...thats all

On a positive note though, with that win I would say that the women of Manhattan are probably safe tonight and after celebrating with his teammates, he'll probably be too tired to beat anyone.Last edited by crques; 03-13-2009, 11:09 PM.Comment

Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
I was watching mostly the ACC, so I can't say about the officiating as a whole. But if there is a complaint to be made, its not on that shot from WV. That wasn't a foul that should have been called. It was good defense. Not to mention it would have been 2 shots, not 3 since he was across the line. Mtneers should be upset that travel wasn't called in the last 4 seconds of regulation when Syracuse inbounded the ball.Originally posted by VP Richard M. Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
I honestly thought he was kicking that leg out kinda far, and moving after the shot was released. I'm not saying there wasn't contact, but I think it was partially created by an erratic post-shot motion. I like the no-call, especially since the block was clean. Look at the replay again. No way he was going straight up and down.Comment

Oh well, it pisses me off that they lost but now at least maybe they'll move into a #5 seed and Ebanks is playing awfully well heading into the Tournament next weekend. I think the loss tonight and the way it went down will only make them hungrier, and gear them for another Sweet 16 run, or maybe more I hope. I think I'm going to call it a night now and try to sleep this one off. I have an 18 month old that will up and ready to go full throttle in about 5 1/2 hours and I'm already sleep deprived after the 6 OT game last night. Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
Considering the Refs gave WV 2 points earlier in the game because they missed a shot clock violation, this should have been a moot point.
All of this devondorf hating is kind of funny to me. Naturally this is new to me because Syracuse has never had such a hated player in recent memory. But the kid plays his heart out and makes clutch shots, what more could a fan ask?
So everyone keep on saying how Tired Syracuse is going to be tomorrow, Im sure they love being the underdog. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

LOL @ having a real debate over next year's POY right now.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Cuse handles UL full court pressure tomorrow. Slick Rick will have that on all game and be changing lines like usual to try and wear down the Cuse.

Thats what I saw, a player that went up for the shot then put his leg out as far as he could so he could try to get the foul. Good no call.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os
