Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of the halftime *** chewing that Huggs is dishing out right now. WVU looks like the team that played 6 overtimes last night. They are playing sloppy and not very aggressive at all. I sure hope they weren't expecting to show up and win just because of Syracuse's marathon last night. I guess Rautins is fresh since he only played 49 minutes last night cause his 3-point stroke is money so far. Flynn's last 3 or 4 shots look like those of a guy that's spent, as well he should be, and I'm not even going to mention that crap right before the half from 60 feet away. Give me a break!!! Hopefully WVU will keep it close enough to be within striking distance late in the game. The Orange have to wear down soon I would think, or at least I'm hoping.Comment

There was no question that that should have been a shot clock violation on WVU, but I guess I'll take the free two points.
And how about Cam Thoroughman!!!Comment

Just what the Orangemen needed. More basketball. Jimmy B should skip practice next week. It probably would violate OSHA laws.Originally posted by VP Richard M. NixonI always remember that whatever I have done in the past, or may do in the future, Duke University is responsible one way or the other.
Thanks, dookies!Comment

Well that's a cheap way for a game to end. The no call on the shot, then no call when WVU tried to foul on the pass to the layup.Favorite Sports Teams

Nice to see the officials are out to get West Virginia again. I knew it would rear its ugly head somewhere along the line.Comment

Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread
WTF???? Deedledork fouled Truck after the shot. Should have been 2 shots. Why no foul call on the rebound when WVU clearly fouled before the breakaway? That's bull****. Thank you Big East officials. Evidently they felt sorry for Syracuse. Now after back to back games like that for Syracuse, I'll bet you anything that Louisville wins by 20+ tomorrow night. Louisville hasn't had to use near as much energy in their first two games. Besides me, who thinks that Syracuse will lay an egg tomorrow night and get pasted?Last edited by crques; 03-13-2009, 10:59 PM.Comment
