I hear what Superjames is saying but personally I would rather have the one & done in the NCAA rather than an NIT run, but that's just me. As far as the Turkish kid goes, I'm not going to count on him to contribute anything to the program until his Junior year, based on what I've seen out of him so far. He just needs a lot of work. Maybe Huggins can have him contributing as a RS Sophomore but I just don't see it now. He's struggling at times against guys that couldn't even play NAIA college ball so just imagine how he would be against Big East talent.

That said, I hope WVU gets an NCAA bid because WVU seems to get to the Sweet Sixteen every time they get in the Big Dance. I just would rather see a deep run in the NIT than get bounced out in the first round. I'm sure I'm in the minority, though.

Hmm ... Maybe Dan Jennings can do well. He's at least 6'9. Huggins seriously needs to recruit more height on this team!Comment

I'm sure most teams would rather go to the NCAAs, but for my fan purposes, I'd rather see my team go out in glory, even if it be the NIT, than get embarrassinly bounced in the NIT.

As far as the Turkish kid goes, I really thought he was going to be better than what he's been. I'm not sure what happened to him. When I watched him scrimmage early on, he looked very promising and like he was going to be a force. Once you put him in game situations and game atmospheres, he struggles and plays very timid.Comment

I dont know about you guys but I would rather lose first round in the NCAA tourney than win the NIT. Going to the Tourney should be an honor, Even if you did win the NIT, who cares, Its not like anyone remembers the NIT Champions. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Cincy gets the win vs G'Town in overtime.
Props to Mick Cronin in rebuilding this team. They are playing good basketball right now.
Tough loss for G'Town at home. In my opinion, G'Town needed this game.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Well, Ruoff appears to have found his stroke all of a sudden as he is 4-5 from three-point range in the first half. West Virginia leads Providence 42-27 at halftime. This will be a very nice win if the Mountaineers can hold on.Comment
