That was a great game. Too bad another mid-major has fallen, but it was a great game nonetheless.

So, go Zags, the only true mid-major left IMO. I don't really consider Memphis a mid-major considering their elite talent and tournament experience. Gonzaga has had some success in the tournament, no doubt, but they're not even close to the level of the Tigers.

I had no idea you all had never even made an Elite Eight before this year until a few days ago. For as good as Pitt basketball has been lately, that's terrible. WVU made it to the 1959 NCAA Championship Game, so WVU has had more tournament success than the Panthers. Take that Pitt!

Nobody considers Memphis or Gonzaga a mid-major anymore.
