I don't think a loss on this level happens every year. Losing to Buffalo or a team from the NEC or MEAC conferences is one thing, but losing to a D-II school right in your town is another.

Luckily for SU this wont count in the record books, but it should definitely be a wake up call for them, WTF has been going on at SU lately? lol

I think its Le Moyne. Lamoyne looks like the name of a gay hair stylist w/a hard to understand foreign accent.

LeMoyne is a Jesuit College about 2 miles away from the Carrier Dome. They play Syracuse every year in a Exhibition, and this year they finally struck gold.

Its one of those things though, You should beat a team like Lemoyne 100 out of 100, Hopefully Syracuse has learned they cannot take any team for granted, no matter how bad they media thinks they are.

But Why did Syracuse lose? Syracuse ran Man2Man most of the game, which is actually a good thing because that means the 2-3 Zone will be good this year. Lots of different subsitutions, Jimmy B likes to mess with different lineups in these games.

I really dont know what to expect this year after this game though, Was it a sign of things to come or just a freak loss? We will find out soon enough though...

Cuse man...I wouldn't worry too much. If anything, this loss could be a positive in the fact that you're guys were "humbled" and embarrassed. It means they know they have more room to improve.

UofL lost to WKU last year and everyone was going on and on around town here about how terrible we were and how we wouldn't be any good, and that only escalated when we lost at home to UNLV. What happens? We win the BE regular season and tournament championships, are named the #1 overall team in the NCAA Tourney, and reach the Elite 8 for the 2nd straight season.

Syracuse will be just fine this year, and I can't wait to face you guys on Valentine's Day this season in the Carrier Dome. Of course, I'll be more amped for our re-match in March here at the Hall. What a fitting finale for the Hall, 'Cuse vs UofL, Boeheim vs Pitino. The only other fitting finale I could've seen would've been Cincy.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Great quote from LeMoyne's head coach.

....the day before they played Syracuse:“I showed them one clip from last year’s game,” said Evans of the contest SU had won by 34 points. “And it was when one of our kids took a charge and Jonny Flynn fell down . . . and three of our players went over and picked up Jonny Flynn. So I just told my guys, ‘If any of you does that tomorrow night, I will take your scholarship away. On the spot. You’ll be done.’ And that’s all we showed them.

Or all the kids that go to LeMoyne... For the record, since it seems nobody really knows anything about LeMoyne, I'm pretty sure they have a Division 1 Baseball team.

A little concerned about UCONN this year, mainly because I cannot stand the sight of Stanley Robinson.

Hopefully he's matured a little, and is less concerned about screaming and hollering after every dunk, and is more concerend with being a halfway sesnible basketball player.
