WVA played like crap and that was the only reason why they were in the game.

Ebanks is projected as a top 15 pick this year but he's not worth a first round pick IMO. He's a less talented version of Earl Clark.

Which is a pretty damning statement.

How can anyone say Cincy should be in over Louisville????? Cincy is not even on the bubble. They needed to win the Big East tourney to have a chance.

I also don't get the Ebanks hype. He is a good athlete, but I don't think he is a good basketball player. His b-ball IQ is not high at all. I will grant that he is a good defender and rebounder though.

I thought Cinncy was a lock for the Big Dance back in November. Stephenson didn't mesh well with the returning players and Gates and Vaughn had disappointing years.

Granted UConn is far and away the most disappointing team in the conference this year I think Cinncy has the #2 spot locked up in that category.

guys I don't think ryanmm...actually believes that Cincy should be in over UofL...just more a popshot at UofL is what that comment was all about. Not sure why he feels the need to take shots, but I guess it feels good to take shots at a team when they are down.

UofL will be in the tournament and will be a 10-12 seed which is where they belong in my opinion. Getting to the 2nd round and bounced is what I would expect from this team. A 1st round exit is the end to a disappointing season, reaching the Sweet 16 would be an overachievement for this squad. I'm glad that the youngin's will get a chance to play in this atmosphere as this season can only be beneificial for next year.

Now, if he does truly think that Cincy should be in over UofL, then he's got some explaining to do to Seton Hall and USF

For as physically imposing as Gates is he is kind of soft. He can't finish around the rim at all.

Lance is nice with the dribble though but their offense as a whole is a huge clusterf***. It's brutal to watch at times.

And, they never should have left Brand Jordan. They used to have the best jerseys and shoe combos out there.

Ebanks is a tiny bit smaller Jeffries, and thats if he never learns how to shoot. Skies the limit for him. Nothing wrong with being a Jeffries type player, either.

Just think it's totally unfair to keep Cinci out considering they beat Louisville in the tournament.

                And yes, we played pitiful.

Did you guys hear that Butler actually called "bank" right after the ball left his hands? Lance Stephenson mentioned it in an interview.

Monroe need to stay one more year to hit weight room and workout another summer with Zo. Then he'll top 5 pick in 2011..

Good Lord, this is the third WVU game in a row where I thought I was going to have a heart attack in the closing seconds.

                          I'll take the win, though.

                          Bring on Georgetown!

Ohh thisclose to the Big East title game

TJ missed a 3 and Nash got stripped after he got the rebound.

However i'm very proud of this team and I hope they get a bracket with a Sunday regional final. I will fully expect it this way

I think Tory Jackson was fatigued. He undershot two critical 3's in a row. Nice way to battle back for the Irish though. In the end, Butler was just too much.

Phew, Hansborough will never have a game like that ever again in his life.

On to G'Town and hopefully locking up a #1 seed.
