WVU isn't moving because the Big 10 doesn't want WVU.
I don't want WVU to move to the Big 10. While I may enjoy the football side of the Big 10 a bit more than the Big East, WVU is as much of a basketball school as a football school these days, so going to Big 10 basketball would be painful.

If anyone jumps ship, I hope it's only one team and that team is Missouri (which won't even affect the Big East) or Rutgers (which would hurt, but not be devastating by any means).

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for as well.

The Big 10 seems set on trying to get the Tri-State/NYC market so I think Rutgers and UConn are the two most likely candidates. I don't think adding either of those to the Big 10 would effect viewership in the NYC area all that much. I'm hoping they realize that and just take Mizzou.

I agree about the style of play synonymous with the Big 10, boring stuff for the most part.

There's no doubt that the move would help UConn's football program out immensely though. Having Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, etc coming to the state to play college football - I assume it'd spark a big interest in the state. Plus we have a 10-year deal with Notre Dame, though none of the 10 games are going to be played in the state of Connecticut.

If they could take three Big East teams I would be in favor of the move. If it's UConn, Pitt, WVU or Cuse then I'd be okay with it.

        (Totally making these up)

        Big 10 Division A:

        Ohio State
        Penn State
        Illinois
        Iowa
        Indiana
        Pitt
        Northwestern

        Big 10 Division B:

        Michigan
        Wisconsin
        Michigan State
        Purdue
        Minnesota
        Connecticut
        Syracuse/Rutgers/WVU

It's not horrible. It would certainly get me more into college football.
Yeah it's not horrible. I love the Big East and would hate to see SU go. The league is too big in basketball, though. I'd like to see it knocked back down to 12. USF, DePaul and 2 more should go.

If SU went to the Big 10, I don't know if they'd ever win more than 3 games a year in football, lol.

It is horrible. Losing Cuse & UCONN would be a huge hit to BE hoops.

lol Oh Cmon, Syracuse is getting better at football ( I think).

Do the Right Think ND, Just go to the big Ten so they leave the Big East Alone. If Syracuse does go to the Big Ten though, I really Hope UCONN does too. Hopefully SU will at least keep the Rivalries alive with GTown and UCONN.

And if Syracuse does go to the Big Ten, Jimmy B will most certainly retire. That is not a horrible thing though since Mike Hopkins will take the reigns from Jimmy. Hopkins can Recruit and can teach the 2-3 as good as Jimmy does, Hell Boeheim doesn't even coach during Practices, he just watches.

I do think Marrone has the program headed in the right direction. It may take another year or two before that translates to more wins though.
