Well I'm thrilled with Butler winning. Other than Xavier, the only other team I really root for is Butler. I think my family had to be the only people in Edgewood, KY, decked out in Butler gear. My sister is an '02 Butler grad and is stoked about them being in the Final Four. I'm excited!

I don't know about Brandon Knight or anything for next year, but let me tell you this, I guarantee he won't be half as good as Wall. Wall was the only guy to show up today for UK and he took over half the game. Love that kid.

It's really ****ing sad that Kentucky had to play the best #2 seed, it shouldn't have been that way. Kentucky shouldn't have had to play us. While Duke gets the cupcake road to the Final Four.

Wall is like a dumber and worst shooting but uber athletic Steve Nash. He's the best PG prospect I've ever seen. Without him Kentucky will not be miles better than everyone else, and I do not care who they recruit. Knight is very good and might be close to Wall as a player but as a PG. Wall is one of the best ever(college) as far as impact is concerned.

I never said he is. In fact, between his maturity and development of skills, I think Cousins has only reached about 75% of his potential. Of course he is only 19, but that extra 25%, if he works on it, will make him a perennial All Star in the NBA. But that is up to him.

He probably won't mature anymore.

Yes.

Anyways, random thoughts from another GREAT day of hoops.

-Butler can win it all. If they don't face Baylor (who I think would handle them), they could keep it interesting with either Duke or WVU. And they'll give UT or MSU all they can handle. Don't sleep on them in this Final Four, Butler can play and they'll give whoever all they can handle and then some. They've already taken out K-State and the Cuse, they've proven they can beat anybody.

-If Kentucky hits a third of the 3's they took today, it's a very different game. I can't remember a team being that cold from deep. They missed their first 20. Amazing.

-Wall is a beast. They lost, but his ability to function and make circus passes while near the hoop and surrounded by huge dudes is unmatched. Not a great shooter, but i'm sold. I don't envy the guy that has to choose between him and Evan Turner.

-If WVU has to try to rely on the 3 again, whoever they're playing will beat them. They can't fall in love with it. They have to remember who they are. If they do that in their next game, they'll have a great shot against Duke or Baylor.

-On to tomorrow! UT/MSU is intriguing. The loss of Kalin Lucas didn't come back to haunt MSU against UNI, we'll see if it finally does against Rocky Top. Should be a good one. Michigan State's been there before, they've done this before, and I think they'll do it again, even though I'll be rooting against them.

-Duke has their hands full. None of the teams left are playing as well as Baylor. They're loaded. Quite frankly, I think Baylor is going to win the title.

But if this tournament's taught me anything, it's that it's quite literally unpredictable.

I didn't watch the game, but I have no idea why Kentucky attempted so many 3s. They were never a good 3 point shooting team during the season.

Great to see Butler in the Final 4 and playing virtually home games. It would be amazing to see a mid major win it all.
