Casey Mitchell hits a three with 3.8 seconds left to give WVU a 74-71 lead over Vanderbilt! Mitchell has a career-high 31 points.

EDIT: West Virginia escapes 74-71.

Now I get to root for Carolina to go to hell tomorrow and Sunday (NC State @ UNC tomorrow and WVU vs. UNC in the final, most likely)!

Duke's got a hell of a schedule coming up after 3 easy teams:

vs. Marquette
@ Oregon
vs. Kansas State/Gonzaga
vs. Michigan State
vs. Butler

That MSU game is going to be amazing.

Wow, I will enjoy listening to the local radio guys who said last Sunday night that UNC would need Harrison Barnes to score 20 points per game in order to be a top 10 team.

WVU vs. Minnesota in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Final tomorrow.

Minnesota is a pretty good team, though. I do think a lot of people put too much stock into one player (HBFU) and thought he'd make them great by himself, but he doesn't have much to work with. Zeller, Henson, and Bullock pretty much.

Syracuse is beating William & Mary by 1 right now with like 8 minutes left. This is nerve-racking.

Edit: Losing by 2 with 6:33 left

Edit x2: Cuse pulled it out. God this team is so average this year. No way they finish the year ranked.

#25 San Diego State beats IUPUI 61-46. Improve to 4-0, all 4 wins are road wins.

Not terribly shocking honestly. Same team that 4 days ago lead by 19 in the first half to Northwestern State to blow the lead and go down 2 in the second half yet win by 15.

We're a very talented team but even more young dealing with plenty of growing pains. We're making alot of mistakes and don't have much experience to date.

Don't let the ranking fool you on Memphis, we'll lose some games we probably shouldn't simply because of foolish freshman mistakes.

Tough trip for UNC down in Puerto Rico by going 1-2. I know that both Vandy and Minnesota could be tournament teams but it's got to be a big disappointment only winning 1 game.

Great second half by my Hoyas. The backcourt experience was too much for those young guys on State. State is going to drive their fans crazy this yr with their youth. They will be fun to watch though.
