Good to see Troy Williams pick IU. Indiana's Hoosier Hysteria event last weekend seemed to really impress him.

IU is still recruiting BeeJay Anya and Noah Vonleh for 2013. I can't see IU taking both and I don't know what timetable Anya has for a decision, but Vonleh seems to be on track to make a spring decision. I think many IU fans and probably also Crean would prefer Vonleh over Anya. The next few months should be interesting for IU.

How is IU going to keep all of these guys? Aren't they again over the limit?

If every underclassmen comes back next year then IU is over the limit. But, based on how the staff is recruiting it seems likely they know Zeller is gone after this year. So, assuming Zeller is gone that leaves IU at the moment over signed by 1 which is allowed by the Big Ten.

I think it is also assumed by many fans Indiana will probably have another player turn pro. Who that could be who knows, but the most likely candidate assuming he plays up to potential is Oladipo.

Then there is Maurice Creek who is a Senior by class and may or may not return. That's all speculation though.

Then add in the possibility of transfers/incoming freshman not being eligible. I trust the staff knows what's going on with the team in terms of scholarships and just don't really waste my time worrying about it. That's Tom Crean's job. I do think it's good to prepare for any circumstance then to get left empty handed at the end and scramble for players. Most likely Indiana will have room for 1 other player that's why I said I don't see IU taking both Anya or Vonleh. It will either be one of them or neither and I would be shocked if IU got both.

Hearing Kennedy Meeks is down to UNC and Georgetown, with NC State, Indiana, and Kentucky on the fringe. Would love to see the big guy here in Chapel Hill.

I honestly don't really know.
I don't see him getting a lot of minutes tho with the death they have on the wings.

I really think Zeller will stay at least 3 years.

I hope your right and I like your optimism, but IF Indiana has the season that's expected I don't see Zeller coming back. I know Zeller isn't your average college basketball athlete that's looking first and foremost at making the NBA and really enjoys the college life, but Zeller seems to be a top 3 pick in the draft next year at worst and with how the staff is recruiting I'm not holding out much hope that Zeller returns.

Now, in a scenario that IU struggles this season or even has a early NCAA tournament exit I could see Zeller potentially returning next year. But, I really don't want to think of those scenarios happening this season.

Hopefully Meeks will feel differently after his visit to Indiana in a couple weeks. He's visiting Bloomington the same weekend that Indiana is hosting Noah Vonleh for his official visit. That will be a big weekend for IU.
