Austin Nichols to Memphis. Pretty surprised, thought he was a Tennessee lock. Wish he would've picked Duke.Comment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Unless of course Wiltjer, Harrow and Cauley-Stein all leave (not out of the question but at this point I doubt it). If that happens then we will have 11 schollies available (if Goodwin, Noel and Poythress all go). Doesn't matter though as you can only keep so many top players happy. My guess is that unless the staff feels like Cauley is gone after this year then they will likely not continue to pursue Johnson. If they did then its a good chance we get him as Cal has been on him for a long time and he loves UK. But there are a lot of "if's" between now and when he makes a decision.Last edited by PhantomPain; 11-05-2012, 06:48 PM.#WeAreUKComment

In the least surprising news, Meeks has named a final 2 of UNC & GTOWN. Expected once IU dropped Anya which lead to him heading to NC State."This is for all of my peoples who understand and truly recognize. Some won't get it and for that i won't apologize"- Talib KweliComment

UK/Cal will not let up on Wiggins and will be in it until the very end. Hopefully after the end too by him committing to UK :wink:Last edited by PhantomPain; 11-05-2012, 08:32 PM.#WeAreUKComment

The level of ball control on his handles is...jeez. He has NBA level handles right now.Comment

Wow...everyone else looks like they are in slow motion compared to him. I may be wrong, but the next 4 years or so of Gators hoops could be very, very special."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Now WCS....can totally see him leaving after this year. He's 7'0 and runs like a deer. Still very raw but so was Daniel Orton....and I think Willie is twice the athlete that Daniel was.
I think at the end of the day, Cal gets Wiggins and then one from the Randle/Gordon/Johnson trio. Randle would be my first choice followed by Johnson and then Gordon. Johnson may be the more logical choice if Kyle is the only post player that returns."He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
I just can't see Kyle leaving after this year. He's just an average player when his shot isn't falling. Very similiar player to Ryan Kelly, although I think Kyle has a much better back-to-the basket game.

In order of importance between Randle and Gordon for me is, no order of importance. With the twins, Young, Wiggins and Lee, I honestly couldn't care less if we got Randle or Gordon. Both will be awesome and would fit into the system quite well. I like Johnson but I'm not sure where our interests lie at this point. I am still trying to get some info on that. But he is pretty slow and would seemingly not be good for the system/players that will be there next year.
All in all, I'm not worried about it with Cal at the helm.#WeAreUKComment
