I just the one and done rule takes away from a kid who is going to work his butt off as a STUDENT ATHLETE for his college career. I think the NBA should adopt the MLB rules. You can either go pro out of HS or if you choose the college route you have to stay there for at least three years

It's not UK's fault that the NBA decided they can't stop themselves from drafting high school players so they needed to create a rule that stops them from doing it.

UK recruits the same players we do but they happen to sign more of them.

Although we don't necessarily have a lot of 1 & done players like UK, we aren't a team chalk full of juniors & seniors. Whatever UK does is working for them & until the NBA changes their rule then I have no problems with it. Hate the NBA for that rule, not UK or coach Cal for doing what every other coach & program in America would do.

Blah blah blah facts it's all Calipari's fault.

Andrew Wiggins is officially down to 4 schools. He cut Syracuse & Ohio State from his list, and will make official visits to Kansas, North Carolina & Kentucky.

Then Kansas next weekend when they play WVU & then he visits UNC when we host Duke.

Kansas & UNC are both long shots but doesn't hurt that he is still visiting.

I've read in the past it was down to FSU & UK, but you never know. If he has a great official visit it could change a lot of things.

Julius Randle is apparently announcing March 20th on where he is going. A couple places I have read that KU and UK were the favorites, but who knows.

His mom just confirmed to Dave Telep(recruiter guy at ESPN) that NC State & Oklahoma are no longer in consideration.

Gotta admit I didn't think NC State would have been in it as long as they were. Hopefully he picks UK since we will need someone that is competitive and strong. Certainly can't rely on Poythress if he comes back.

And no, I'm not suggesting Poythress will jump to the NBA. He likely comes back or transfers. If we get Randle, I'm fine with either. I might be fine with either if we don't get Randle. Poythress is as frustrating as they come.

He's a projected top 20 pick. He's gone. Another year of freshmen. Just get ready for it.
