Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Either way, When Wiggins finally makes his decison, he's gonna piss off almost everybody, and this thread will probably combust with anger, sadness, and why. And a few posters may need to be monitored, and placed on suicide watch.Comment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Ok ill admit one, this is about Andrew Wiggins and two, i am a Kansas Jayhawk fan. I am sorry to all of you Kentucky fans but Andrew Wiggins going to Kentucky is obnoxious and unnecessary. Calipari is ruining NCAA Basketball do you think its fun to watch your team replenish after one season when everyone leaves? The perk of being a Jayhawks fan is the fact that you watch them grow you become a fan of them since most if not all stay till they graduate. Guys like Thomas Robinson, Cole Aldrich, Mario Chalmers, Jeff Withey to name a few all stayed for at least 3 years. So its like a family but with Kentucky its a rental or a 'loophole' to getting into the NBA as fast as possible i just cant understand why you would go there. Andrew Wiggins is choosing between Kentucky, Kansas, UNC and FSU. In my opinion i would love to watch him come to Lawrence but I think its best to go to FSU write his own story like Steph Curry did at Davidson, CJ McCollum at Lehigh, Kenneth Faried at Morehead State and Damian Lillard. I dont see Wiggins going to Kentucky because all that can do is lower is draft stock, cause a chemistry issue, not get the education he would have at FSU or UNC or KU and finally not be with his best friend and go to the same school as his family. Andrew Wiggins is bound for FSU. Do i want him at Kansas? YES, of course hes the canadian jordan! But i am telling you he is most likely going to FSU makes the most sense as far as being 'the' guy, getting a good education and being connected to your best friend and family.Comment

I also find that funny that you say it's a family there and not at Kentucky, because anyone that comes to Kentucky, whether it be for 1 year (Wall, Davis) or 4 (Darius Miller, Patterson) will always be loved by the UK fans.
Also, stop with that one and done nonsense that it's all Calipari ruining it. What about Ben McLemore? He was a "freshman" (albeit redshirt) and he is leaving early, I see no mention of that? Bill Self is recruiting ALL of these players Cal is (Randle most recently), he is just not getting them. So that statement is extremely hypocritical.
Thomas Robinson didn't play much until 2011-2012 so of course he wasn't going to leave, he wouldn't have been drafted.
Regarding those guys going to the smaller schools, you realize that's because they weren't highly rated right? Curry was a 3 star recruit, McCollum was unranked, etc. It's not like they were elite 5 star prospects that decided to go to a small school.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
There's so much wrong with that dude's post that I'm not even going to bother with it. Not worth it man. At least other guys like bigeast give valid points.. That dude just spouted a bunch of nonsense and thinks it's fact. And not even going to go there on him Curry/McCollum(LOL)/Faried/Lillard coming out of high school to a guy that is expected to be the #1 pick as a freshman. LOL @ hurting draft stock by playing at Kentucky.. Because John Wall, Anthony Davis, and Nerlens Noel (who is looking more and more like he's going to be the #1 pick tore ACL and all) hurt their draft stocks.. Pretty sure Eric Bledsoe wasn't considered even close to a first round pick until his Kentucky season. The thought of Josh Harrellson and Darius Miller being drafted before Calipari got there was laughable at best. You only hurt your draft stock if you under perform (Ryan Harrow, Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress). If you're even CLOSE to doing what is expected of you then you get drafted and get more exposure on the way there.Comment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
If you think an education is a reason he will be going anywhere you are sorely mistaken. He is a one and done no matter WHERE he goes, and he wouldn't hurt his draft stock at UK lol. Unless something major happens, he will be the #1 pick in the 2014 draft.

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
Before trolling and or posts directed towards other members gets worse than what is being posted, I'll say first and only time, keep it on topic, civil, and no pot shots towards other members. "Oh, I can tell you're a ________ fan..."
Keep it civil, keep it on topic of recruiting and what's going on, and enjoy. First and only warning.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
No the fact he said that education didnt matter typical UK fan all that matters is a championship in NCAABB cause your football program sucks and you can only live this down so much longer before Cal gets busted for probably paying for players or some **** cause the NCAA rules are dumbComment
