I still expect another Self type team this year, where they start slow with some losses, and then build as the year and finish with a top 2-3 seed in the tourney.

Self isn't going to give Wiggins anything he's going to have to earn it, which he will.

And here I was thinking that Kansas streak of Big 12 titles would finally be put to an end by Oklahoma St. this year, then this happens.

Still definitely a possibility. They aren't deep in the frontcourt, and Embiid, although he has a ton of potential, is still very raw.

I'd favor Oklahoma St. at this time.

But seriously, this was one strange recruitment. Never saw anything positive for Kansas in all the articles/message board stuff I read. Nick Wiggins was right, his brother shocked us all.

Matt scott has been saying kansas for a while. Ironically he has been wrong with almost every other kansas target, guess he had to get one right.

Forget embiid for the moment. He'll be nothing but a backup, role player. Kansas has Landen Lucas coming off redshirt whos been practicing against Withey, and is a conpletely different player. I expect him to be an impact player rebounding, defense, and has turned into a nice rim protector but wont be dominant.

Perry Ellis is.the scoring 4 needed in Selfs system.

Ironically, Kansas also has Tarik Black visiting today, big transfer from Memphis. He wohld be a huge get and would likely start at the 5.
