I watched the replay on ESPN3.com, skipped most of the middle 20 minutes...sad crowd in New Jersey...very timely 3's indeed, a lot of nice passing. Free throws were pretty iffy, but they did shoot them pretty well in OT, just not well enough overall. Saw a little bit of Vandy-Oregon some time last week, they looked pretty dang good to me, even though they lost to Cleveland State after that.

Bama wins 65-56 and takes home the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Championship. Nice start to the season. Roll Tide!

I'm still glad with making the final. We weren't supposed to get that far, and Alabama was just too much of a match-up problem with their length. Fortunately for us, I don't think we'll see a team quite like that in the Big Ten.

This team will get better as the season goes and and I expect them to be in the running to make the tournament.

Big win for Bama as the revenge tour in Puerto Rico is successful.
