Still kinda bummed about Michigan getting a 4 seed. But after looking at our region, it's not that bad.

You should be scared of both. Mizzou has best guards in America and Gators have deepest guard play. Mizzou's problem is depth. I'm an ACC guy but I don't see UVA beating UF and especially don't see them beating Mizzou

I don't see them beating Mizzou, but I don't see Florida winning at all. They've been awful this year.

Yeah, I was starting to wonder if State was going to get screwed out of a bid there...

Good to see WVU get a #10 seed. I thought they would get an #11 seed.

Hahaha, don't be worried about Wisconsin. They are a bunch of floppers that can't handle a lot of pressure. Bo Ryan hasn't done anything in March either

What? Florida has been awful this year? They almost beat OSU and Syracuse on the road, they knocked off FSU, and if it wasn't for the last 10 days where they've been walking mash unit Florida would have been a 25 win team. I think UF matches up well with Mizzou, but I am worried about round 1 first.

Florida could make some noise, based on what I've seen, they are a streaky shooting team. Beal and Boynton can stroke it, especially Beal, But I think they need to give Patric more touches. I could see them going either way, but their definitely not awful.

Since Young injured his ankle about of the 1/3 of the way through the season he's been pretty useless (has his days, but definitely the most disappointing player this year imo). Florida goes as far as their guard's shooting takes them...if they are on, they will/can beat ANYONE in the country. If they are off, they can lose to ANYONE in the tourney. I don't think they can get hot for 6 straight games, but to call them awful is just wrong.

I am looking forward to this team next year. The only guy gone is Walker and Beal, Murphy, Boyton, Young all a year older will be a very good team.

Yeah if Young were 100% I'd be tempted to pick them over Mizzou, he is the kind of guy who could really mess Mizzou up by getting their limited inside depth in foul trouble.

On Beal though do you think he'll return next season? Projected top 10 pick in the draft although I don't know if he wants to enjoy the college experience more or not. He really impressed me in high school and has continued to this year, hell of a player and if he does return next year Florida is going to be really dangerous.

Some of this years do seem really poor, seems like the committee is taking more power conference teams who have pretty mediocre resumes as opposed to some high win mid majors (had two 27 win teams left out this year which I believe is the 2nd and 3rd highest win totals to be excluded from the dance in tourney history).

I think just the opposite actually.

For Iona and BYU to get in shows that the Committee is trying to get more of the lower major teams in instead of rewarding mediocre power school teams. Keep in mind BYU nor Iona have particularly sexy numbers or anything (although I do think both of them were top 50 in RPI).

The bubble is getting worse and worse each year though. Honestly, I would've kicked USF out for Drexel if push came to shove since I'd rather see a smaller school, but other then that.. it's tough for me to complain about a team getting jobbed since Drexel's case is pretty much unprecedented in terms of how bad their SOS was. None of those teams on the bubble felt inspiring. ESPN says that the next team in would've been Oral Roberts had St. Bonaventure not stolen a bid.

Good point on Iona/BYU completely forgot about that matchup.

Yeah I think its understandable why the bubble feels so bad this year, when you expand the field even just by a few spots you weaken the bubble, even last year there were questionable teams getting in now with more spots you make the field even more diluted.

Just imagine the bubble if they went to 96 teams like they had discussed, you would have some pretty awful teams in, I'm really glad that didn't go through.

The bubble was horrific the last 3 years. I think it was partially due to Pac 10 or 12 being down the last 3 years.
