Re: The Official 2012 "Running Commentary of Every Single Game" Thread
Purdue lost that game on their last 3 "offensive" posessions.
Once they were up 60-57 they tried to run out the clock. If they're gonna do that, dribble for 35 seconds and heave a three and send 5 guys back on defense so those transition points don't come for KU since they were having a helluva tough time scoring in the half court. It's a shame too because KU escaped and Purdue deserved a better fate tonight.
If KU decides to keep chucking threes all day, NC State is going to give them all they can handle and more.Last edited by XFactah416; 03-18-2012, 10:15 PM.Comment

Purdue just lost their minds on those last 3 possessions...awful execution."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Didn't matter to me who won this Kansas Purdue game but didn't the pg for Purdue get tripped?-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: The Official 2012 "Running Commentary of Every Single Game" Thread
To all the UNC Fans, I am really sorry about the latest stroke of bad luck with Marshall. I am honest enough to admit that I don't typically root for UNC (unless they are playing Duke, UofL, IU, etc.). However, I've been where you've been.....I feel like Derek Anderson's injury in 1997 cost us a title and Keith Bogans getting injured in 2003 did not help us vs. Dwyane Wade and Marquette.
I still think UNC can get to the Final Four, but beating the East winner without Marshall will be a tall task. They still have a great frontline but the point guard position in the UNC attack is so crucial.....they'll need this White kid to play out of his mind the next few games if Marshall is truly out for the season."He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Yeah c'mon, man. That wasn't Holloway. It was Mark Lyons. Holloway would have pulled it back and run out the clock. Lyons is more of a showboat and was probably the only guy on the team who would have done a break-away dunk. Personally I wish he hadn't but whatever. It didn't surprise me. Hate on Holloway all you want but he's a good kid.Last edited by SlimKibbles; 03-18-2012, 11:00 PM.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Florida St. is unraveling out there; kinda ironic since they flashed that 7-2 stat in games decided by 3 points or less. Luke Loucks with a lazy pass and then Leonard Hamilton doesn't try and get a timeout with Loucks trapped.Comment
