Lost all loyalty to the Pistons when they traded Chauncey Billups for Allen Iverson. I'm not much of an NBA fan though. I love college hoops and the NBA doesn't even come close to matching the excitement and emotion.

To me Kentucky is the Dark Side, and Calipari as the Evil Emperor. :wink: I do like Tayshaun Prince though.

LOL...yeah Prince is a class act. Knight is too though. Pistons got a couple good UK players.

Last year's NBA Finals had more emotion and excitement than the 2009-12 NCAA tourneys combined.

More emotion I'll agree, but more excitement? What about the Butler/Duke? Uconn/Butler was horrible lol but the first Butler run was great stuff.

Not to get this off-topic, but last year NBA Finals was a classic. Games 2 through 5 were classic and there was so much emotion in that series. In fact, most of the playoffs had a lot of emotion. OKC-DEN, OKC-MEM, OKC-DAL, CHI-MIA and MIA-DAL were all great series with a lot of emotion.

Meh, it's different. They all make millions of dollars, and the only thing on the line is their "legacy." Tomorrow will be the last game for a lot of these guys in a college uniform. And then there's the obvious annoyance of the NBA: series.

I really need Kansas to win this game! I'm doing a gambling thing with 7 other friends and I'm tied for 2nd. I drafted Kansas with the last pick of the draft. The other person I'm tied with happens to have Kentucky with the first pick of the draft. We have 9 wins total and the leader has 11. We can only tie for first as the championship game counts as 2 wins. So I've got money on the line with the odds against me.

I liked that national anthem. Nothing wrong with a different take on the anthem.

At least The Fray's lead singer is talented. He also didn't try to overdo it.
