    Re: 1/7-1/13 Game Discussion Thread

Winning @ IU was never a part of the plan for the Gophers. I just didn't think we'd get embarrassed

Hopefully they have a better second half.

There's no button pusher. It's set with when the clock goes to 0 it automatically goes off. They did away with the manuel buzzer a long time ago.

So the rule you think is wrong.
However the buzzer goes off, is how it goes off. But the RULE is the shot clock violation is determined by the buzzer, not the shot clock. I'm not wrong.

      Page 63 reads:

      Section 65. Shot-Clock Try
A shot-clock try for field goal is defined as the ball having left the shooter’s hand(s)
before the sounding of the shot-clock horn and then striking the ring or flange, or
      entering the basket.

      Page 89 reads:

Art. 2. It is a violation when a try for field goal does not leave the shooter’s hand
before the expiration of the allotted shot-clock time (as indicated by the sounding
of the shot-clock horn) or when it does leave the shooter’s hand before the
expiration of the alotted shot-clock time and the try does not subsequently strike
the ring or flange or enter the basket.

That's why we're the best team in the country.

Just suffocating the number 8 team in the country.

Too many weapons. Not one team is as deep and has this many scorers on a team.

I've always gotten a chuckle out of IU's popcorn box pants.

Indiana didn't think they had to play the 2nd half.

More worried about tomorrow's game than meaningless January rankings.
