Indiana just dominated from start to finish...really underachieved this year IMO."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

If Cody Zeller goal is to make money, he needs to declare for the draft now. I think his stock would only go down from here."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

The length of that zone. Wow.
Crean didn't have a ****ing clue on what to run.
If Crean is our coach for a long time we'll remain to have 5 banners hanging for a looooooooonnng time.Comment

Really uncalled for.
That was for a share of the BIG championship. Crean wanted kids to experience that didn't get to in there tenure there.

Thing is IU has the pieces to beat a 2-3 zone, but nothing was happening for them tonight. Good season overall, AWFUL way to end it. To add salt in the wound, IU could very well lose their entire starting 5 aside from Ferrell. Hopefully Noah Vonleh is as good as advertised....Indianapolis Colts

meanwhile la salle is creeping back into the gameKenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!
Captain Tenneal: Get it on!Comment

If I'm and Indiana fan, I'm not happy at all with Crean, they were totally unprepared for that zone, and that team was at the least an elite eight team. I wouldn't have been happy with anything less then a final four bid though, that team was alot better then a sweet 16 finish.
Indiana on paper and from the eye test was better then Syracuse, but Boeheim knew how to play them, so props to him and Syracuse, they earned it.
I'm shocked Miami and Indiana are gone.Comment

Who knows, but I don't think Zeller is a lock to go pro. He has a decent mid-range game that he is going to have to work on to be successful in the pros. After watching Syracuse's length bother him tonight he's going to have to pattern his game after like a Pau Gasol to be a good NBA player I believe. As he's not going to a be a back to the basketball player as he is now.Comment

Re: The Official 2013 "Running Commentary of Every Single Game" Thread
Thing is we have no clue how Cody Zeller feels about top draft pick money. His family is well off, so it's not like he needs money right now. Zeller said last year that he enjoys college and didn't go pro because he's not ready to grow up yet. It's not out of the question that kid legitimately values college right now over being a top 10 pick. Maybe he would rather work on his game enjoy the college life a little longer and get picked in the draft next year. Maybe being picked in the middle of the 1st round is ok with Zeller as he may go to a better situation.
