Disappointed at today's Memphis loss, but not surprised. I thought that they might have a chance if they could rebound and hit their threes, but it was not to be.Once upon a time, I had a lovely signature. Then it died. The end.Comment

Oregon has looked pretty good so far against Saint Louis.
Hopefully these games to close the night out are much better. At least they look good on paper.Comment

The Flagrant 1 rule called like that is ridiculous. The defender shouldn't be sticking his face in there if he doesn't want to get an incidental elbow in the mouth. As an offensive player, you should have rights to that space with a clean clearout.Comment

Wow that block is like something you would do when you were playing with your cousins and your younger cousin goes for a shot and you just destroy him.
These Saturday games seem to be following Thursdays lead of being mostly uninteresting.Favorite Teams:

Sounding like Howland might be out at UCLA as early as tomorrow, not surprising but I'll be curious to see who they target.Favorite Teams:

Yeah what names have you seen mentioned?
The report I saw mentioned Billy Donovan (can't imagine him leaving Florida where he has no pressure on him), Brad Stevens (will be interesting to see now that Butler is moving to the Big East, even if it isn't the Big East of old), Shaka Smart (I could see him leaving for UCLA), Jay Wright (seems underwhelming due to how Villanova seems to have plateued/underachieved the past few years), and Mark Gottfried (recruiting well but they underachieved this year as well).
Couple names I'll just throw out as blind speculation Buzz Williams, he seems to be linked to every notable opening every year and what about Mark Few? Say Gonzaga doesn't end up making it beyond the Sweet 16 would he consider leaving figuring maybe hes taken them as far as they can go or is he at a point where he is at Gonzaga for life? This is one of the biggest jobs on the West coast and maybe the timing is right?Favorite Teams:

The rumor is Donovan is the #1 guy on their board, followed by Pitino. Guys like Stevens and Smart are on the second tier. Allegedly Few isn't a candidate for the same reason Chris Petersen isn't a legitimate candidate for any bigger jobs in football anymore - they're comfortable where they're at and have no interest in leaving.Comment

Has he even intimated he's interested?"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
