Speaking of NIT, I haven't actually watched any of it yet but wow Marble is going nuts for Iowa, I'm going to go ahead and make sure I try to watch their next game.

The Maryland vs. Iowa game should be a really good matchup. I'm hoping the Terps can pull it off and win the tournament. It would be a great stepping stone for a young team going into next season. Go Terps!

Bayor and BYU has been pretty entertaining this far. I really like watching Pierre Jackson play. I wish he had another year left.

Iowa is playing as well as anyone in the country right now. They have learned how to close out games and win away from home. The Hawks just beat two very good teams and are facing another solid squad in Baylor Thursday night. Marble is just on fire right now and Iowa has won all their NIT games but double digits.

This is great experience for the future. Iowa is very young and I think now going to the NIT is better for the program than going to the NCAA's.

Next year should be a great one for Iowa.

Is there any concern Marble may be playing his way into the first round? He has been absolutely on fire, he has the size needed and the fact the draft is a bit down this year would only seem to help him even more.

I think Marble has already said he is staying for his senior year.

Terrible showing by Iowa tonight. They played their worst game since the loss to Nebraska back on Feb 23.

Great season but the way Iowa lost stings.

Wow... I was busy, so I didn't see the second half. Sounds like it got worse from halftime on. Oh well. Good season for the Hawks, congrats to the Bears who played a nice game tonight to take the tournament.

Yeah, watching them progress was a joy this year.

Last night was tough, because we know they are better than that.

Just never got a rhythm and were missing easy opportunities all night long. Give credit to Baylor though, they played real tough. Still crazy that they lost 14 games. If they play to their potential all year, I could have easily seen them as a Top 10 team. Very inconsistent but they definitely got the good Baylor last night.

Also, Iowa is going to be serious next year. With Marble committed to another year and Uthoff coming into play, I could definitely see the Hawks being a Top 3 team in the Big 10. Fran's got them on the right track for sure.
