#21 Missouri survives on the road at Auburn 70-68 to avoid going to 0-2 in the SEC after a bad loss to Georgia.

Well, probably should have just gone for the win regulation at the end there.

I'm no basketball mind, but I would imagine that if you go 13 minutes without a FG in the second half on the road against the #5 team in the country, you're probably doing at least something right.

      Valiant effort.

I haven't seen Minnesota play at all this year but of course Pitino Jr would be more fun to watch than Tubby. So is paint drying.

          Recap of last night:
Nothing of note from yesterday. There were only 7 games in Division 1 last night. ESPNU had 2 games on but neither were close or entertaining.

          Games to watch today:

There should be some upsets in College Basketball today. 10 teams from the top 25 are on the road today. It`s never easy to win on the road in conference play. There is only 1 game involving top 25 teams today with #25 Kansas State at #18 Kansas on ESPN at 2:00 pm est.

Most likely to get upset today are:

#8 Villanova at Saint John`s on Fox Sport 1 at 1:00 pm est.
#9 Iowa State at Oklahoma on ESPNU at 12:00 pm est.
#10 Florida at Arkansas on ESPN2 at 1:00 pm est.

All 3 home teams could use some resume wins since all 3 should be bubble teams come March.
Thanks! I was so busy Friday and Saturday, I didn't get a chance to look ahead to the games or watch any. Big 12 looks like a very good league this year. Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, Oklahoma State with Oklahoma and Kansas State after that even with their blowout loss yesterday. I think I saw a stat somewhere about half the coaches in the league have made a Final Four.

SMU at Louisville, Iowa at Ohio State and Stanford at Oregon look like the games of note today. Only problem is they all good on during the playoff games.

Kansas looked awesome against K State. If they play like that they are a very tough team to beat.

I really don't understand this UW team this year. Blowout losses to UC-Irvine & Indiana; a terrible loss to a terrible Boston College team; 2OT game against an awful Long Beach State and a close game against a bad Hartford team. Yet they've given UConn, SDSU, and Arizona all they could handle; beat a 12-2 Utah team that took Oregon to the limit and now they're up by 18 on Colorado with 6:30 left.

Dinwiddie got injured on a non contact injury and the reports are it's serious. The game was close and that happened, and everything went wrong for CU (not to mention Wilcox decided to hit everything).

Artis couldnt make the finger roll at the buzzer to tie it. Stanford wins @ Oregon. Both teams tried hard not to score at the end. 3 L's in a row the Ducks after being 13-0.

Any of you catch the Xavier @ Creighton game this afternoon on CBS SN? Even though my team lost, it was an entertaining Big East Conference game. Lots of scoring, especially from behind the arc, and two stars (Doug McDermott 35 pts and Semaj Christon 27 pts) going at it. I don't know if I'm going to survive watching X in these conference games. Every game has been kind of a nail-biter.

I occasionally flipped to that game during the playoff games. I wish it wasn't on at the same time as the playoffs. Big East is probably a 4 to 5 bid league this year; Villanova, Creighton, Xavier and Georgetown... I guess.

Northwestern upset Illinois, bad loss for Illinois. Iowa won at Ohio State and got that big win they've been lacking the last 2 years. It will be interesting to see how Stanford plays after this game, they've been a weird team this year.

Semaj is a monster. I haven't caught as many X games this year as I have in the past, but he is probably the best player since the team that had David West/Lionel Chalmers/Romain Soto (although Jordan Crawford was great for them as well).

He's the best they've had since David West. Because X wasn't that good last season during his freshman year, there are probably a lot of college hoops fans who haven't seen him play before.
