The Cats getting routed. I figured they would lose, especially after a big win vs UConn then traveling to SMU for the game today. No excuses, but SMU has a nice squad.

Marcus Smart just shoved an elderly man in the stands and received only a technical. I'm not sure what the guy said but I'm sure it was probably bad for Smart to react like that. I thought he'd be thrown out for sure.

St. Joe's won at home vs VCU and La Salle lost at home vs St Louis on a Jordair Jett layup in the final seconds. I originally thought about going to both games because the La Salle game was at 5 and St. Joe's at 8 but I didn't like the tickets I could get for the La Salle game. The St. Joe's game was great. The atmosphere, the intensity between the two teams and the quality of play was great. Anybody that enjoys college basketball would enjoy going to a game like that; Hagan Arena had a lot of energy.

What I thought about VCU when they played Temple last year remains what I think of them. If you have good guards and passers you can beat them. The most critical thing to beating VCU is playing good defense on them. When you stop VCU it doesn't allow them to set up their defense and you can go on better runs during the course of the game.

The thought of Glenn Robinson III going pro after this season is a laughable joke. That kid vanishes for huge stretches of every game, especially on the road. He sucks at shooting the 3, can't create his own shot, doesn't put any effort into rebounding or boxing out, and is content to just camp out in the corner or run the floor in transition looking for a highlight reel dunk.

In no way, shape or form is he an NBA player. One of the worst decisions in recent memory if he leaves after this year.

He can create his own shot, he just chooses not to. It's a shame he's so passive because the talent is there.

Smart should be suspended for the rest of the conference season. The message needs to be sent that there is NEVER a time where it's OK to initiate aggressive contact with a fan. Too much can escalate quickly in a situation like that.

How was Smart not ejected? Seriously, that's awful that he wasn't ejected for that. I knew he had a temper, but come on.

It doesn't matter what the fan said, Smart should have not let it effect him. I don't care if the man said if his family should die in a fire or whatever, you don't do that as a player. You are supposed to set an example.

Easy to say that from our perspectives. He's a 20 year old kid and an "amateur" athlete. He's also in the middle of competing in a physical sport.

I just think we should wait for all of the facts to come out. But that won't happen.
