…remember though, it's not really a B1G championship because other teams were hurt. You wouldn't have won it if other teams didn't have to deal with injuries. There will be an asterisk on the banner, no doubt.

It won`t be long before Frank Martin has South Carolina in the tournament every year and near the top of the SEC.

Re: Calipari....is anybody really surprised? The Davis/Teague/MKG title team is very much the exception. You recruit a bunch of 5* one and dones every cycle, you'll capture lightning in a bottle once in a while, but more often than not, you're going to have a team full of inexperience that makes mistakes like freshmen and has little to no chemistry because they're all used to being "the man" and can't cope with being asked to fill a lesser role on a team.

UK won't be in the NIT, at least I don't think so. A few weeks ago they were projected as a 3 or 4 seed, but the latest I see shows them safely as a 9 seed. I don't see them dropping out of the tourney.

His first 3 teams have freshman led and they all were very good. These last 2 years have started with bad point guard play which in his system is awful. This team is full of players playing for themselves and not the team. It shows.

UK fans better hope Robert Morris doesn't make it to the NIT this year...

Kentucky isn't going to the NIT this year. They are just going to flame out early in the tournament.
