I think this made too much sense for both the school and Underwood. The crazy thing is people were throwing Doug Gottliebs name out there. I know he played there but he has no coaching experience.

It would have been interesting, but I am happy Holder didn't go through with it.

Hopefully Underwood won't be another Ford situation, having success at a mid major although Underwood seems to have more success and winning the league several years recently. Also hopefully Holder has learned his lesson and not give a new coach a 10 year contract after making the tourny once.

Phil Forte will hopefully get a medical redshirt and with Juwan Evans should be a fun team to watch.

Tubby to Memphis and Texas Tech hires away Chris Beard who was just hired by UNLV. That leaves UNLV with no coach and 2 scholarship players.
