Re: SI.com's College Basketball Preview
Coach K and Blue Devils fans can't afford to ask, "What if?" With Deng and Livingston, Duke would likely have opened the season ranked No. 1 in the nation. But without their raw talents, the Devils will need breakout seasons from Ewing, Randolph and Williams to continue their recent domination of the ACC. With stocked teams in Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and UNC, the Devils will be the hunters instead of the hunted.
That doesn't mean Duke doesn't have talent; all five probable starters were McDonald's All-Americas. It just means they could've had more. -

We all knock on Duhon(Well not duke fans)and he may get hype like no other athlete ever, but i think this year we'll see how valuable he was to Duke. And i said this last year and i'll say it again,i just can't see Dockery running the poitn effectvely. He was great defensively but didn't do much else.Comment

Re: SI.com's College Basketball Preview
We'll see...
Duke: Is Sean Dockery worthy of the mantle?
Johnny Dawkins, Quin Snyder, Bobby Hurley, Steve Wojciechowski, Jay Williams, Chris Duhon. That's a pretty good lineage of point guards to come through Durham, and it's no coincidence a string of Final Four appearances has also queued up. Now Dockery, a 6-2 junior, takes over a team that has only eight scholarship players after Luol Deng and Shaun Livingston were drafted by the NBA. The Blue Devils will have their usual surfeit of perimeter scorers (J.J. Redick, Daniel Ewing, freshman DeMarcus Nelson), but it will be up to Dockery, who last season averaged just 1.3 assists in 15.4 minutes, to manage the game and create scoring opportunities for his teammates. He might prove capable of doing that, but he hasn't yet.Comment
