Two things.

1) Kinda sucks that the top 2 guys in this years draft class (cmon, its obviously Poter Jr. and Bagley) sustained an injury in one of their first games, even if they probably arent that serious.

2) How is that not a flagrant on Wendell Carter Jr.?? Nobody touching him and he just raises his arm completely on his own and KOs Ben Carter with the elbow. The one thing that really irritates me with officiating, when refs take their power too seriously late in games, but at the same time let players get away with blatant cheap shots.

Side note, has Jack Hoiberg or Gavin Schilling played at all this game?

I think they should be suspended for the year but I bet they get something like six games.

I think 6 games is more then enough.

Grayson Allen is putting on a freaking show.

I've thought every shot he has taken tonight was going in before he finished releasing it.

I think they ruled it the way they did because Carter was grabbing him and holding him from getting into the play. So Carter Jr reaction is to break free. So happen as he breaks free. He catches him in the face. I don't think you can blame Carter Jr for wanting to break free. I think it was handled perfectly in my opinion.

But totally agree with your first point. Sucks that the 2 stop players are injured already. Basketball Gods haven't nice to us this year.

Entertaining game, but at no point did it feel like Duke wasn't "in control". Even when MSU hit the trey to go up 3 with 5 minutes or so left, I had no doubt Duke was in command. I think that's because they were owning the boards, but they just seemed like the better team.

Pretty good night of hoops. It's only November so alot of these teams look raw. But you can make a safe bet Kansas, Kentucky, Mich St and Duke will all be really damn good by March.

Texas Tech was good 2 years ago and then was disappointing last year. I think they're the oldest team in the country.
