Wow, what an ending to the women’s national title game!

That was a hell of a shot. I'm not sure why Mississippi State held onto all of their timeouts while that 16-1 run happened.

Unless Michigan's defense forces Villanova into one of their worst games of the year (and Michigan's offense has an A game), I expect Villanova to take the title tomorrow night.

But regardless, this is probably the most proud I've ever been of any team I've ever followed, in any sport. There's something unique as a fan of watching a team truly grow and mature as a season progresses. It's a really different feeling than cheering for a Duke, a Kentucky, a Kansas, etc. Those teams have high expectations every single year.

For a program like Michigan to lose two really, really good senior leaders from last year's team, lose a 3rd starter early to the NBA, and accomplish what this year's team accomplished? It's a very different feeling from the 2013 team that had some form of expectation from the outset (and proceeded to win its first 16 games).

I'm hopeful that Beilein can hang onto Yaklich for a while, and he's able to capitalize on this run in recruiting moreso than the 2013 run.

What a ride.

I'm really happy for you...it's been a while for you that one of your teams has done something like this, so I'm glad to see you truly happy with one of them. Hopefully Michigan plays out of their minds tonight and 'Nova goes cold...

Looks like Brunson is trying to assert himself over Simpson's defense early. If they want to play hero ball with all those shooters, Michigan would be more than happy to let them.

Seems like they kind of settled down. I'm noticing a few fumbled dribbles by Michigan now. DeVin opened up their offense.
