Just laying down and giving up in the national title game thanks to Beilein's ridiculous auto-bench rule.

Playing a freshman who is contributing absolutely nothing instead of the senior leader because of two fouls.

That's definitely not the problem. Nova just went on a 23-7 run. Michigan needs to turn up the defense. Get those 50-50 balls. They were contesting those early 3's. They seem to have backed off a little.

Exactly what I was saying. They need to come out really strong in this second half. Nova defense got turned on there. And they missed too many shots in my humble opinion. Nova threw that 1-2-2 press. Michigan kind of tightened up there.

Totally agree with that halftime assessment. Michigan has to come out early here. Try to cut into the lead little by little. Their defense has to be top notch here. They can't get into a running match.

Game is over. You don't outrebound Villanova. They rebound too well and their passing/footwork is the best in college. If you don't make your 1st shot, you're not getting a 2nd chance.
