That was such a great game. I hated to see to either team lose, both teams were easy to root for.

I agree. That call gave the win to Virginia. Maybe one of the refs attended U of V.

It wasn't a phantom bad call like the double dribble vs. Auburn.

I get why perhaps that wouldn't be reversed in normal play but in utopia, EVERY call would be perfect which means it's UVA ball.

I get that.. but that should never be the case. You got to go back and change that call after calling all those games like that. We've all played basketball. If I'm holding the ball. And you slap it out of my hand. We all know the ball is off you. Ain't no one going to fight about that. But if you watch it in slowmo. Yeah the ball is in my hands. I'm always going to be the last one to touch. I've seen this replay thing happen in the NBA too. It's by far the most backwards thing I've seen.

Congrats to the UVA. What a come back story. Their style of basketball finally pushed through. Great season by them.

No way my dude... No way.... We know it's last touch. But that call turned the game. I'm sure Tech lost because they thought they were on offense. And they on defense all of a sudden. He's got the ball in his hand. Yeah... He's going to be touching it.

If he's off in College when the pressure is on he's trash.

Looked worse than Marvin Williams did when he was a one and done.

This has nothing to do with numbers, he was out there taking bad shots and getting his stuff snuffed when he wasn't doing that.

They were running the same iso to the same spot unsuccessfully and it was weird seeing his teammates score while he looked like a high schooler out there.

Most of the dudes who struggle in games like this dont just go to the pros and become all stars.

It's been a long time since I've posted on OS, and please forgive my general profanity and exuberance, but:

Holy ****ing **** The University of Virginia are the the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball National Champions.

I've been getting my heart broken by UVA sports (football and basketball both) since I was like five, I was indoctrinated by my parents early lol. I watched UVA play the worst football game I've ever seen - college or pro - four hours away from home in Chapel Hill after one of the biggest upsets in school history over FSU a week prior. I watched in person what I thought was the high point of the program with Sean Singletary's floater over Duke. I watched the Hoos shockingly lose to UMBC last year. I watched the Cavaliers lose convincingly to ****ing Fordham my first year on Grounds in 2005. I worked at UVA basketball games while I was at school there and we mostly were entertainingly terrible. I know who Keith Jenifer is.

I never ever ever expected this to happen.

Culver has been their best players all season long. He basically facing the best defender this season in Hunter. They wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for him in the second half. I know how you hate iso. But you could hear the coach was looking for any kind of offense at one. Even asking the players "what do you want to do? Where do you feel comfortable?" I'm sure Culver wanted those iso in the second half. UVA took away most of their sets. If it wasn't for Francis and bench. They would of been blowout.

I guess I'm ok with his proformance. Sometimes you have to take some bad shots.
