Re: Notre Dame question
Since the Pod System is in place they could. Don't matter the region if ND makes it they try to keep most of the teams as close to home as possible during the early rds.President of the Devils Den

I would hope they wouldn't though. It's unfair for a lower seed to play closer to home than a higher one. What do we think this is? Women's NCAA basketball?Originally posted by VP Richard M. 2. I guess it's just the way the ball bounces sometimes with lower seeds having home court advantages. (04 Air Force in Denver and 04 Badgers in the Bradley Center)Comment

Re: Notre Dame question
That's "just the way the ball bounces" is not a valid excuse. You play hard to earn a top seeding & then the committee "rewards" you by sending you to Albuquerque to play New Mexico. That's not right.Originally posted by VP Richard M. NixonI always remember that whatever I have done in the past, or may do in the future, Duke University is responsible one way or the other.

2. Hey, if the team is good enough, it shouldn't matter that the lower seed has a homecourt advantage. Pitt and UNC beat the partisan crowds last year. Complain when the pod system actually screws the higher team with a tourney loss at a defacto road game.Comment
