Re: Notre Dame question
I saw you put "sometimes". I don't think it should be done anytime.Originally posted by BAMJ6
That's not right. Stats show the home team wins almost 70% of the time. Whether the road team is better or not. The crowd affects the game, whether you acknowledge it or not. Whether its pumping up the team or influencing the refs, or disturbing a FT attempt. A team shouldn't get a home court advantage just because their campus happens to be close by. It should be earned over the course of the season.Originally posted by BAMJ6-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M. Hey, if the team is good enough, it shouldn't matter that the lower seed has a homecourt advantage.-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M. Re: Notre Dame question
I don't understand why they had to go and do that either....2001 out in Boise was the best bracket I've ever seen. Hampton beats Iowa State, Georgetown beats Arkansas, Georgia State beats Wisconsin and George Mason almost beat UMD.Originally posted by PdiddyPopMe too I'm still bitter bout 03. Only damn champion to get shipped out and we got shipped out West. That's where the Duke has the easy road arguement gets shot down.
I don't care how far you ship these teams, people will show up regardless and it makes for a better, more entertaining game.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

one of the best brackets i saw was the 92 Midwest Regional. Kansas as the top seed got took out by UTEP, Ga Tech on James Forrest miracle buzzer beater beats USC and Harold Miner, Cincy rolls along, Memphis St with Penny Hardaway upset the Razorbacks, and in the Sweet 16 Tech was dispatched by Cincy, and Memphis St advanced to play the Bearcats for the Final Four. Of course Cincy won and made the only apperance for Huggy Bear.President of the Devils Den
