Man, I hate hearing that. That'll affect his draft status. I hate seeing that. Agents will have a poster child to hold up every time they are trying to attempt some kid to declare early.

He wasn't a 1st rounder last year and he wasn't a first rounder this year. If he's lucky this will push him out of the draft alltogether so he can go to the camp(s) he wants where he has a legit shot at making an NBA team. Getting drafted in the 2nd round is a kiss of death more often than not.

Do hate to see any player(especially a very good player) end his senior season on the bench, hope he's able to play again.

Unless Mississippi State can turn it around, they may be heading to the NIT.

Stansbury likes to prepar for the worst when it comes to injuries, he always tends to stretch things to make sure nobody gets their hopes up. He was sure Frazier was done for the season when he went down, and continued to say that for a while. But obviously, he's back now. I wouldn't be surprised if this slows Lawrence some, however.

Just thought I'd let everybody know that as of last night Stansbury said that it seemed to be a pulled muscle near the knee. They're ruled out any kind of break or ligament damage. Lawrence is very, very lucky.

He was unable to practice yesterday due to soreness. The main thing that bothered him was when he landed from jumping. He was doubtful for practice today, I don't know if he did or not. He's questionable for tomorrow night's game at Georgia. Stansbury said if he was able to play through the pain, he would. We probably won't know for sure until gametime.

Not to add more negative to this case but Stansbury and Mississippi State should not be disappointed with an NIT bid after their previous two tournaments.

A loss to Butler? And then a 2 seed fallout?

                            Ouch.

Good luck to Lawrence, best of health.
