Yeah we've had about the same NCAA success as Florida.

I don't guess I'd be too disapointed in the NIT...if we won it.

But Mississippi State had a legitimate chance to cut down the nets last year. They were a number two seed against a Duke team (as the #1) that had a lack of depth and a banged up point guard.

As a number two seed you can't lose to a 7 seed, it's that simple.

Miss. State was like Florida last year (two years ago) with the loss to Butler. But last year was still inexcusable.

Dang, he probably regrets not heading to the draft.

            Bad news.

Very true, we had way more potential than we showed in the tournament last season. But it's not like we lost to a bad team, Xavier was on a tear and was playing their best basketball of the year. They beat St. Joe's in the A-10 tournament (St. Joe's first loss of the year) on their way to winning it. Then beat Louisville in the first round, blew us out in the 2nd round, beat Texas in the Sweet 16 and played Duke very tough in the Elite 8.

But I do agree, we have to step up the postseason play. Never have been very good in it under Stansbury.

Lawrence will start tonight. How much he plays obviously remains to be seen.
