For a MyNBA offline player, is there any real need to get the new game?

Fellow MYNBA players, has there been anything that sold you on 2k26?

Also is it true that we lost crossplay rosters from PC? It was great last year having PC players unlock Blake Griffin, John Wall ext..

Anything substantial change with the ERAs?

Nothing substantial has really changed in MyNBA aside from the different sim speed settings (Which had admittedly helped with the realism aspect)

I'd say it's worth getting the new game based on the improved gameplay alone. Leaps and bounds better than 2K25 on the court

In 2k 25 you could only sim a game twice before every result would be exactly the same. Is it still like that in 26? This ruined my experience in eras.

Agreed. It's worth it for the gameplay improvements alone.

Presentation also got a nice boost as well.

They fixed the injury bug and you can now assign any number of days for any injury.

They also fixed the 2-way contract rules so it’s 50 games vs 45 days. Also teams actually sign their 2nd round picks now.

It doesn’t have the new apron rules in, but it still has all the settings to tweak the cap.

I’m happy I made the purchase just for those things alone since it’s less manual tweaking I have to do in game now.

I would say yes. It’s worth it for the gameplay alone, IMO. Everything just feels so refined. It’s the little things. I just love how the Utah Jazz arena looks and feels. I don’t know what it is about them. All of the arena’s have a more personal feel that aren’t immediately noticeable but you pick up on them as the game progresses. If you play mostly NBA games you will appreciate the small touches.

Shams joins the commentary crew most games and gives an overview of the teams playing. Later in the season he talks about in MyNBA trades that have been made. It’s a nice touch. The late game commentary has had a nice upgrade as well. Also, Steve Smith is gone now and I kind of love it. He was my least favorite commentator after Webber and I do like not hearing his voice.

I did read about the different Sim styles. How have those been?

Offline I wish 2k would finally put the same timing jump shot landing animations for real FG%

I also wish 2k put green or miss as an option to turn it off on all difficulty levels offline

Global green window slider % for offline
                Would be heaven sent

Sadly, it's true that currently there is no roster sharing between consoles and PC. A total bummer for those of us that are on console and were able to download some fantastic rosters that PC users put together.

Sounds like the drive and kick (no layups) glitch ruins the game for offline players as of now though right?

Not with a few slider tweaks. And surely 2K will address the issue with a patch soon(tm) so that we don’t even need to skew tendency sliders in order for the CPU to finish in the paint.

Tendencies are completely broken. I'd say no.

This is correct, but I found a slider set that had changes for tendencies and I was able to do one slider for every single player so it only took a few seconds for each tendency I did all of them in a couple of minutes. You can edit entire rows and columns now for roster editing. (Look at TooSmooth4TV's thread in the slider section) But I get that it's a pain and you shouldn't have to do all that. But I am really enjoying the game with his sliders and the roster editing and having the shot meter turned off completely. This is the first year I've played with it like that and actually liked it. Dribbling feels great and responsive this year. And the game looks great graphics wise.

If only you could actually sign a player to a Two-Way contract in a roster file. Players get locked into Standard (Core) contracts the moment they touch the FA pool.

I have found ONE workaround but it's extremely time consuming.

In fact if ANY player touches the FA pool, it glitches the player.

For example, let's say I waive Jamai Mashack from the Grizzlies and want to sign another 2-Way player. I'm required to waive a standard player so I can add that Two-Way (via my convoluted workaround).

Let's say I waive Colin Coward, who is on his 4Y rookie scale, with the intention of immediately re-signing him once I transfer the new 15th man over to a Two-Way slot. Coward automatically becomes a 1Y minimum and this CANNOT be changed. He can't be given back his Year 2-4, and is stuck making 1.27M. This is obviously an atrociously big problem/bug given the handicaps 2K already places on users in roster editing.

This cannot be fixed because Contracts are not part of Player DNA (which is also why you can't just upload DNA to override a player's corrupted / incorrect contract).
