    - I'm affraid that if a trade happens IRL I won't be able to reproduce it in my association unless I restart it.

Now seriously, Leftos, make these videogame magicians (you included) know that the more customization options you give to the community, the happier they will be (you know this perfectly), and not the other way around!
interesting if these couldn't make it in this round. i wonder if the trade issues could be somehow integrated with the season/association/mycarrer mode without having to restart them over. quick thought. could these be handled like computer upgrades? i.e. when chrome updates, i have the new features, yet all my information is where i need it to be?

I swear I need clarification from 2k on this. What does "customize league" mean? I take it as you can add classic teams to your league. I can see others take it as you can edit other teams accessories, numbers etc. I hope it means both and not just the first.

If it is going by the same verbiage as current gen , then it would only confirm implementing classic teams...

I would like confirmation on the other stuff as well..

Yes we can still customize league as in put certain teams in different divisions and bring in classic teams!!

Now just say we can still edit players.

I have seen this asked a lot today and the fact that 2k guys have been in the forums and avoided it makes me a little nervous, it seems like a simple enough question to answer unless they have a brand new edit system they want to talk about on there own terms.

This all really reminds me of Madden 13, hopefully not. Completely killed offline season mode, couldn't touch other teams rosters, he'll they didn't even let you change the jersey of the team you were playing against. Not really liking the way sports games are heading, many, many people still love season modes with the ability to edit other teams rosters. How tough is it to just leave in a season mode with editing and all team trade abilities?

just watched the gameplay vid on my computer, looks much better thank what I saw earlier on my phone. Detail and lighting are great. My big thing is net animations. 2K's net animations have been terrible. I didn't see much in this vid, but is there a chance the net physics were touched upon? It's actually a big deal to me, as little as it may be.

season mode only 1 team control-Is this confirmed or no?

ill be sticking with cg on pc this year for association.

im surprised at some responses from non association guys- never a good thing to remove features.

i dont give a crap about shoes, accessories, myplayer, etc but if those features were removed, i would expect a lot of guys to be pissed, and rightly so,

those features help the game sell, and hopefully keep the features that each of us likes, improving. taking them away and alienating solid fans of the game is wrong.

the removal was a conscious decision to take them out. they could have included 30 team control if they wanted it in.

hope to see it return for 2k15

with all the conversation being hyped in the NG game i would hope they put in a better voice(s) than myplayer in 2k14 cg-

i played that for the first time this year to see what it is, and the player voice post game/interviews/etc was whack-couldnt listen but once or twice-and the crap he said was whack too

Since classic teams are confirmed I know it's not possible to have head scans for them but I'm curious how 2k's modelers will make the classic players look more realistic minus the head scans.

Seeing the myplayer realistic faces got me excited since we can now add missing legends with realistic results. I still remain a bit skeptical and cautious since the CAP system might end up nothing more than pre-made heads and just add a beard or hair....much like Choops did back in the day....

If it does have deeper CAP system maan I'm excited to see what the talented CAP makers here on OS can do.

I'm not trying to cause a disruption or anything but a wrong is a wrong. Why didn't they learn from NBA 2K5 or Madden 13? Isn't this the same arrogance the other company shows?
A key difference is the timing, like I mentioned before, NBA2k is adding a new but limited mode with the launch of a completely rebuilt version of NBA2k for new consoles, whereas Madden introduced their mode right when most Franchise gamers where hoping that mode was hitting its' stride. To put it another way, imagine NBA2k adding MyGM and removing Association from current gen NBA2k14, now that would be tragic and an apt comparison to what happened with CCM in Madden 13.

Another difference, in my bias opinion, is that given 2k's gaming quality and the fact that its' completely an offline mode, I expect MyGM to be a far better foundation than I found CCM to be in M13. I think taking a mode like MyGM and initially making it offline solo player, to work all the kinks out, then adding multi player, along with online capabilities later, is a better design choice than how CCM was implemented.

I think once next-gen NBA2k14 is released and all the broadcasting for various MyGM modes are shared using the capabilities of the new consoles, we will be giddy with anticipation for a multi player MyGM mode with online capability, in NBA2k15 or 16. I keep picturing weekly SportsCenter from NFL2k5 on steriods, whenever a read about the video highlights in MyGM, coupled with the broadcast capabilities of the new consoles, can't wait.
