Does the patch auto download? or do I have to do something special? I think i did it it definitely seems to save when it did not before ...but maybe I did not have the same issue. If it did download then I started a MyGM (season) and chose the no injuries option playing with the Shaqobe Lakers. In my 1st game Shaq suffers a broken patella and is out for the year. I was able to trade for Orlando Shaq as a replacement ...but this kind of stuff is pretty basic and should be fixed.

I want to say I do enjoy the game. The issues though can really irritate. I love the way the game plays . Nique dunked on me so hard last night ... but to lose shaq when I specifically chose no injuries ... is crazy. Who wants to play a season without one of your two best players? Especially when I am playing vs. classic legend teams?
Come on 2K, you are better than this ...

Same here... well guess its back to waiting another patch

I had the same problem and a developer came to the boards a few days ago to answer the question...

They are aware of this bug and it happens when a player gets injured during the game, and you save and exit. Once you come back it will take you to that trainer screen and there is nothing you can do.

The developer said that this is a known issue and will be resolved in patch 3. The work around is to turn off injuries in My Gm. (Be aware the injury setting keeps reverting back to "on" though so you will have to go in and turn it off every time you load your My Gm)

Just when I was about to say "haha suckers!" NBA 2K14 got me to. Seriously though I wasn't going to say that. What we are dealing with is a sham. I created a new custom roster and got My GM playing to perfection until my third game. I played two games in a row with 12 minute quarters to get the full experience. But there I am playing against the Kings with the Warriors. I had 8 minutes to go till the game ends. I saved it and turned off my PS4 to go take care of some things. I come back thinking hey it should load right? Nope I get stuck at that damn weird trainer and GM sitdown with no words spoken at all and just the camera switching camera angles. This is my first NBA 2K purchase since 04, yep. I love the on court experience but I am baffled by the off court experience. This is the most broken sports game in the history of video games. To the AHole who tried to say go play Live, you obviously have no common sense. It appears that there is over 20 pages worth of complaints. I would say that is a majority. Not only that but these complaints are only from one website. Also what about the poor folks who haven't posted anything on a website? 2K should fire the game testers who tested this piece of garbage. This thread is like therapy for people so thank you all for your support. "My name is Rob and I'm a pissed off consumer!" If patch three doesn't fix these uneccessary problems then I will return the game with a giant F This Game scratched into the disk so no one can play this embarrassment of a sports title!

Just ran into this bug last night. Two weeks of progress down the drain...

Any word on if the couch Co - op issue was resolved with the patch? I'm still stuck on using the pre patch workaround. Seems like they haven't fixed anything with this patch or listen to what their consumers want. It's sad and disappointing that 2k is slowly turning into EA

Doubtful, at least I am not getting fatal crashes with Live. I'd sacrifice gameplay for a functioning game.

Have you played your next game yet? Im playing season mode with injuries off. I lost Deng to a broken collar bone or something for the year. It was a headline afterwards and everything. I was disappointed as well but once I went to play the next game I was notified he had completely recovered lol. I actually like it that way. Check it out and let us know what happens.

Me because after reading the forums and seeing how everyone else is having a horrible life crisis with nba 2k, i decided to play other games like wwe 2k14, ryse, dead rising, fifa14 e.t.c. I have to beat so many other games and hopefully by the time it is all clear, 2k would have patched up this game.

Idk what 2K did but after the patch CPU teams don't run plays they jus stand around n pass til the shot clock gets low then they drive the lane. Teams r way too easy to beat now because they have no offense

Well I actually hadn't had any problems with the game before the patch besides an occasional freeze as it was trying to load into my MyCareer which happened maybe 3 or 4 times. Since the patch however, new problems have arrived that were never there before. First game I played after the patch had extremely muffled crowd noise that didn't fluctuate at all no matter what occurred on court. This resolved itself the following game. After the next game whenever I would go into the menu to upgrade my attributes, for some reason I could go to every screen except the one to change signature skills. As soon as I would scroll to that one screen, the whole game crashed. Weirdest thing. Just that one screen. Also game has had a few glitches trying to load the game to begin with, taking much longer than normal or sound dropping out, etc. Only positive I've had since the patch is that I can finally throw an alley oop when u change the Pro Stick back to Isomotion/Shots like it was in last year's game
