Still says checking internet connection, this is so pathetic for a game where its unplayable if the servers are down and they still haven't fixed them....

agree.. been getting this error for over 2 days with no exceptions on my end.

horrible.

just give us HDD saves and this would be a non-issue!

How ridiculous and unfair is it to pay $60 for a game and you can't even play it because of incompetence at 2K Sports?... They deserve every bit of the criticism coming their way..

I paid the same thing, I'm going through the same stuff, I get that, but you seem to have missed the point. If you're upset and want to complain that's all well and good, but you lessen the impact of our voices if it looks like a bunch of idiots growling like the Hulk and yelling whatever they want because they're mad whether it makes sense or not. It doesn't help us as the consumer get what we want yelling that we want certain things and then when we get it we start bitching about them doing what we asked.

No i get it. But im not really bitching. Im saying this message been going out all day on twitter with no actual updates. As a consumer i paid for a product i expect to work. Now in today world thats not always the case. But it is thier job to let us the consumer know what there doing to rectify the situation. Or even a possible eta to when they think a problem will be corrected. Thats why they get paid. And if they didnt want that type of reaction then they need to stay away from social media. Everyone has different ways of dealing with anger, and social media provides a direct line to those responsible. People are upset that a product they spent thier hard earned money on isnt working and imo have every right to be upset.

See above, you're missing my point. I don't care if you're upset or not, I am too. That doesn't mean act like spoiled children and through logic and reasoning completely out of the window.

Fine. Complain all you want anywhere you want, except this one thread. Why is that so much to ask? I want to know asap when the servers are actually working again so I CAN play the game.

I don't think there's going to be one magical message where everyone says "the servers are working again". This is the "official" thread to discuss the servers being down, so if there's a bunch of side talk about VC I get that's annoying. But complaining about the server's being down seems legit to me. This isn't the "official watch this thread to see when the servers are working perfectly"

Can we get this thread back on the "the servers are down" topic? It's turning into a bash 2k/complain about the game thread. I just want updates on the server issue and not have to traverse through 100 posts about how everyone hates 2k and VC to get information about the servers.

If you want to complain about 2k screwing you out of $60 or shout about how much you hate VC, there are about 1,000 other threads on OS that are talking about that.

Please, for the sake of my brain.

Maybe we both have a different concept of the customer, business relationship. I expect to get full value for what I paid, and to get adequate support when their is an issue. I get NEITHER from 2K!!!!

I am from Hong Kong and same situation here. cant connect to the server since yesterday afternoon.
i can load the mycareer save and play it which i created last week, but cant load the recent save i played yesterday.

I am a huge fans of 2k since 2k7 but i feel sad about 2k this time

I paid attention to everything you said.. You just seem to be ignoring what I'm saying because it pokes holes in you point. If 2K offered adequate support for their products, this thread, and many others wouldn't even exist..

Just because they react differently than you doesnt mean they are wrong. Your the one not listening. There are people using coarse language and maybe going over board. So what. Are they directly influencing your daily life? Are they stopping you from living the way you choose. No they are not. Let them be mad. Because no one on this forum can do anything about the issue other than complain. Because if any of us could actually fix it. There would not be a thread this large. If people are that mad. Let them be dude.
