I didn't buy a single cent of VC with real cash. So is it karma for me too? Or just karma for those that did and just bad luck for me?

Funny how none of the 2k team up program youtube guys have even so much as acknowledged this as a problem. They went from candid community members to 2k apologists. If this only went on for a couple hours, I could see the "find something else to do for a while" thing being valid, but it hasn't been a few hours. This is the third day. Face it: Requiring connection to 2k's servers to play single player modes is a major fail. That's a fact, not an opinion.

There's nothing they can do to compensate us if the accounts are actually corrupted. Very close to deciding to just sell this game right now.

Or how long before something else corrupts that account?? I think it's time.... At least for me.... To move on to another title. I have no desire to lose my current player.... Who's a 96... And start completely over. Create a new psn id as a work around?? Nah..... I'll pass. There really should be some consideration out there to finding a way to get people with issues with this game to a link which gets the majority to One sight. This would at least clearly show the magnitude of the problem.... And if you can get the negative PR rolling on the Internet with big player sites.... You start getting people's attention in a hurry.

It's pretty clear that if you create a new PSN/Xbox account you can start a new MyCareer (I did it last night) but once you try to upgrade your attributes again, you get the same issue, or that what i suffered yesterday.

Could someone try that? I mean, creating a new save in MyCareer and try to update any attribute.

Well, I've tried it by myself and I had no problem when upgrading my new player… so I think that our old accounts are corrupted.

lol ok. Glad its different for us and not just an overall mess-up of the servers screwing everyone over equally.

I'm out. I'll check the game here in a few hours and report back. No reason to sit here and feel sorry for myself for the next 5 hours and progressively get more and more disgruntled. The NFL is on.

Hopefully 2k is smart drops this DRM crap for 2k15. This stuff ruins games, especially when it's their own fault the game doesn't work.

DRM is when you have to be online constantly to play, lose connection and you cant play. Which is what for some ridiculously stupid reason 2K put into this years game, hence why we cant play.
