This makes me glad I didn't get PS4 and 2K14. From what I read online, MyGM is ruined by VC because it makes it so you can't be good at MyGM and MyCareer without buying VC.

You can avoid VC by starting your MYGM offline. This will also keep you free from 2k's server issues/when they shut down the servers.

Yep, but this means you have to use the **** default disc rosters.

Personally I'm enjoying MyGM. I tended to become bored extremely quick with Association. The press conferences, relationships with my staff and players and even just actually having the position of General Manager of a franchise rather than just an all powerful figure controlling the team all keep me playing. The only thing that ruins it is Of course VC. Too many times I've had my coach approach me saying we need something just for me to not have enough VC so now he's mad. My only solution is just stock up on VC. Not too hard since I play 12 minute Qs so I'm raking in about 900 VC a game, but it's still annoying and unnecessary.

I really missed playing as other teams, forcing trades, selecting season starting from current date so that bad teams aren't actually title contenders and doing three way trades. I was hoping they would have 4 team trades in next gen but I expect a lot next year.

I miss the control and the ability to police to CPU most of all. I could go around the league and create competitive teams and actually have a challenge playing against them in Association.


With MYGM I see bad Team building AI I'm stuck to 5 user created draft classes and I can't edit anything NO ratings NO numbers NO contracts and 2K was scumbag enough to leave Trade Override in but force us to pay 1200 VC for every use SMH.

I've pretty much found myself playing NBA Today exclusively because there's no Association Mode. I cannot stand the lack of 30-team control. Five minutes of myGM, and I decided it wasn't for me.

This really sums up how I think most of us feel about the game. I think a lot of people are open to an RPG style Association but not at the expense of administrative control.

Great example, the RPG elements in NCAA's Dynasty mode. Very well implemented with the HC/DC/OC. I had no issue earning my way up that ladder because it didn't tear down the core of the game at the expense of my wallet.

I'm very receptive to the idea of creating a more personable and livable style of game but if it forces me to accept an inferior opponent, inferior decision making and a league that rarely resembles MY perception of reality I'm not going to like the end product.

Control is king and if you put the control in the hands of your buyers they'll be able to create the world they want to create. 2K just can't seem to figure out that more user control and more user administrative features solves half the problems.

My first season played with MyGm Lebron James went to the lakers to team up with Kobe for the next season. I couldn't let that be! "I don't think Kobe would allow it" I restarted the season Because you cant edit the trade!. And at the end Kobe decided he wanted a new challenge and went to the Jazz..... The Jazz.. o_o #Comon2K

My biggest complaint is who has time for 82 Damn games. Can't believe ppl haven't complained more about this its absurd

I thought I was the only one. I loved when I could change the season length to 29 games therefore being able to play multiple seasons.

I am playing on the PS4. How do you choose to select offline vs. online? Mine always seems to be online.

Delete the patches and disconnect wifi.

When you start a new season, it will be offline.

Not really. I thought Association Mode was growing kind of stale honestly.

I'm hoping that in NBA 2K15 MyGm will be a hybrid of what was good about Association Mode (ie options, control, editing) and MyGm. I'd also love to see a few new things added as well (real draft picks, manual injury system, ability to review CPU trades, super sim, etc.).

Being able to control 30 teams in association mode was great for total control and should have never been taken out. I do like the gm and owner interaction and certain things in myGM but VC should not serve a purpose in the mode.

Ok can someone plz answer these questions it's driving me crazy...ok so how do u set your bench rotation? I could only set it before a game starts then next game I gotta do it all over again...second why do my players rating go down even when I'm winning and there moral good? Lastly can you set your team to practice to boost there stats like in past 2k franchises? Sorry if these questions are stupid but for the life of me I can't solve it...btw is there some sort my gm guide anywhere? Thanks alot
